Every piece of meat we got was dry (jerk chicken, lemon pepper chicken, fried chicken…). I guess the food wasn’t fresh since we were having late lunch (went around 3pm). I’ve never had jerk chicken before, but pictures online didn’t show it as black as how I got it. The server packed the jerk chicken from the kitchen (not visible to customers), so I couldn’t see what I was getting. The vegetable rice was tasty.

My only concern is with the food, I ordered both sweet chili chicken as a meal and sweet chili wings as side. BUT so much food coloring was on the meat my fingers were dyed ORANGE ! Rice and peas somewhat dry. Otherwise the food was decent, service decent, atmosphere basic. I will not be returning.

We’ve gone here a few times for lunch and dinner take out, and they can get busy at times.. Their Jamaica meat Patty’s are 1 of the best in town, especially for the price. If you like spice, definitely get a plate of their yellow rice with any veggies they and jerk chicken. Service is on point and always on good vibes, peace, and love.

I was very excited to try this place out. The jerk chicken was fresh, and fell off the bone. They were the right amount of rude, so I expected the food to be good. However, the Mac & cheese was disrespectfully disgusting. It tasted like Cheetos flavored Kraft Easy Mac. The rice was dry, and the cabbage was super crunchy. The jerk chicken was good tho!

So good! I love the oxtail … the sauce is amazing and flavorful. I actually have that and jerk chicken right now…can’t wait to try the other menu items. They have breakfast too.. Jamaican snacks and drinks. Definitely worth the drive

Flames is Flames, man. There’s a lack of Jamaican spots in the area, and Flames fills in the void when i have a craving for some jerk chicken… i will say, though, the jerk sauce is more spicy than it is flavorful. It’s also very small inside, and the music kept skipping, lol.

Literally the worst experience at a flames restaurant! Actually, I came before and the crazy looking older lady at checkout was just as rude but I thought maybe she was having a bad day. This is her every day self! It was hard to read the price for one of the items so I asked her and she pointed to menu. I told her I don’t understand and she pointed again. The new guy working wasn’t sure of some things and she was unkind to him as well. Due to the poor service I received from HER, I will not be going back EVERRRRR!!!!
