Social Profile:

Flame Broiler is a healthy, quick-serve restaurant famous for its Korean-inspired menu with high-quality ingredients, craveable sauces, and charbroiled cooking. Young Lee opened the first store in 1995 to serve his community food he’d want to feed to his own family. Decades later, Young, along with his three sons, are still leading the company’s mission to connect people to healthier food that tastes really darn good. If you don’t believe us, just ask the Lee family – they still eat a bowl almost every day with no signs of slowing down.

Simple fast-food chain preparing Korean-style meat & rice bowls with no dairy, trans-fat or frying.

5 Stars – Fresh, Flavorful, and Fast!
Just had an amazing meal at Flame Broiler in Prosper and I’m already planning my next visit! I ordered the chicken bowl and it was absolutely delicious – the meat was perfectly grilled with just the right amount of char, and the teriyaki glaze was spot-on. The portion was generous and served over a bed of fluffy rice with fresh veggies.
What I love most about this place is how fresh everything tastes. You can tell they take pride in their food quality. The chicken was tender and juicy, not dry at all. I also tried their signature strawberry lemonade, which was the perfect complement to the savory bowl – refreshing and not too sweet.
The restaurant itself is clean and welcoming, with a casual atmosphere that’s perfect for a quick lunch or relaxed dinner. The staff was friendly and efficient, getting my order out quickly without sacrificing quality.
If you’re in Prosper and looking for a healthier fast-casual option that doesn’t compromise on flavor, Flame Broiler is the place to go. The value for the quality and portion size is excellent. Highly recommend giving them a try – you won’t be disappointed!

I got the Steak bulgogi bowl, with white rice. The steak had good flavor but was overcooked and dry. The rice was very under cooked and crunchy. Broccoli was perfect and delicious, carrots were very mushy. As for the service, it was lackluster. The young lady seemed bored, over it, not in the mood. Didn’t get a hello or welcome. The atmosphere was pretty clean, a small space. Not busy.
Not really worth it, I’ll go the extra few blocks down to panda express if I want a bowl of any kind again or to a restaurant with proper bulgogi.

Customer service was nice, but food was a bit meh! Chicken was a llittle over cooked and tough and the sauce was a bit too salty n sweet. Not sure what it is, maybe no authenticity, but something is off, it’s almost like eating a microwave dinner Add some music and more lights to bring your location to life! Keep smiling is #1, #2 is high quality ingredients #3 cleanliness #4 ambience! Good luck I hope you guys succeed

Absolutely loved this place! The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The portions are generous, the ingredients taste high quality, and everything feels clean and healthy without sacrificing flavor. Service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant itself was spotless. It’s a great spot for a quick, satisfying meal that still feels wholesome. We’ll definitely be coming back.
highly recommend!

Burnt food. We ordered their wings and they came out burnt and tasted burnt. We got two batches of them and they are both burnt. How could this even be served to guests. Go here if you want to waste your money.

I tried bowl places and I swear I thought it would be like qdoba o Chipotle style, but no, at first it looks ok, but then protein was burnt and tasted like, veggies literally 4 slices of carrot and a piece of brocoli, and 75% rice. Big bowl it’s my hand size, I mean if you enjoy this kind of food that has 75% rice that’s fine, I don’t…
For $19 a bowl plus drink and that size it’s a little higher the price, half avocado $3 it’s expensive. Would I come back? Not really.

I was in the area and I was looking to try something different. This restaurant, Flame Broiler, attracted me because of their meat selection, as well as their choices of choosing veggies or a carb such as rice.

Since I am on the low carb keto way of living, this restaurant works well for me, but it also works well for those who enjoy rice bowls.

This is a Korean inspired restaurant whose origin story portrays accurately the American dream. Young Lee the founder, had a passion and an inspiration to share his Korean way of cooking with the world. With humble beginnings in Orange County, California this restaurant has been able to spread its roots throughout the United States.

Upon entering the restaurant, I immediately noticed that it was very clean. The interior design along with a combination of colors gives a lifting energy of positivity and warm welcome.

To start choose from a mini bowl, a bowl, or a plate. Choose your base of rice or vegetables. They have a few more options as well. I ordered the bowl with vegetables as the base and two meats which they call half-and-half. 2.5 ounces of spicy Korean chicken, with a spicy sauce on the side, and 2.5 ounces of the Korean Bulgogi. Service was fast and the staff were welcoming. The ingredients in the meal were fresh, well seasoned, well portioned, and flavorful.

This is a great place to get a healthy, quick, tasty, and filling meal for a decent price. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This rice bowl spot is an absolute win. The flavors are bold, well-balanced, and incredibly satisfying, every bite is packed with savory, slightly sweet, and umami-rich notes that feel authentic. The sauces really stand out, tying everything together without overpowering the ingredients.

Portion sizes are huge, especially for the price. You definitely get more than enough food to keep you full, making it great value whether you’re stopping by for lunch or dinner.

It’s great to see restaurants from back home in Southern California and expand here in Texas. There’s nothing like a simple chicken or teriyaki rice bowl. Prices have gone up since I remember, but the food is still good and reasonably priced compared to other fast food restaurants out there. I hope to see more locations open up here in North Texas!
