Flame Broiler is a healthy, quick-serve restaurant famous for its Korean-inspired menu with high-quality ingredients, craveable sauces, and charbroiled cooking. Young Lee opened the first store in 1995 to serve his community food he’d want to feed to his own family. Decades later, Young, along with his three sons, are still leading the company’s mission to connect people to healthier food that tastes really darn good. If you don’t believe us, just ask the Lee family – they still eat a bowl almost every day with no signs of slowing down.

Just had an amazing meal at Flame Broiler in Prosper and I’m already planning my next visit! I ordered the chicken bowl and it was absolutely delicious – the meat was perfectly grilled with just the right amount of char, and the teriyaki glaze was spot-on. The portion was generous and served over a bed of fluffy rice with fresh veggies.
What I love most about this place is how fresh everything tastes. You can tell they take pride in their food quality. The chicken was tender and juicy, not dry at all. I also tried their signature strawberry lemonade, which was the perfect complement to the savory bowl – refreshing and not too sweet.
The restaurant itself is clean and welcoming, with a casual atmosphere that’s perfect for a quick lunch or relaxed dinner. The staff was friendly and efficient, getting my order out quickly without sacrificing quality.
If you’re in Prosper and looking for a healthier fast-casual option that doesn’t compromise on flavor, Flame Broiler is the place to go. The value for the quality and portion size is excellent. Highly recommend giving them a try – you won’t be disappointed!
Not really worth it, I’ll go the extra few blocks down to panda express if I want a bowl of any kind again or to a restaurant with proper bulgogi.
highly recommend!
For $19 a bowl plus drink and that size it’s a little higher the price, half avocado $3 it’s expensive. Would I come back? Not really.
Since I am on the low carb keto way of living, this restaurant works well for me, but it also works well for those who enjoy rice bowls.
This is a Korean inspired restaurant whose origin story portrays accurately the American dream. Young Lee the founder, had a passion and an inspiration to share his Korean way of cooking with the world. With humble beginnings in Orange County, California this restaurant has been able to spread its roots throughout the United States.
Upon entering the restaurant, I immediately noticed that it was very clean. The interior design along with a combination of colors gives a lifting energy of positivity and warm welcome.
To start choose from a mini bowl, a bowl, or a plate. Choose your base of rice or vegetables. They have a few more options as well. I ordered the bowl with vegetables as the base and two meats which they call half-and-half. 2.5 ounces of spicy Korean chicken, with a spicy sauce on the side, and 2.5 ounces of the Korean Bulgogi. Service was fast and the staff were welcoming. The ingredients in the meal were fresh, well seasoned, well portioned, and flavorful.
This is a great place to get a healthy, quick, tasty, and filling meal for a decent price. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Portion sizes are huge, especially for the price. You definitely get more than enough food to keep you full, making it great value whether you’re stopping by for lunch or dinner.
