This place was such a nice cozy place to eat. The food was great!!! I had the steak and lobster dip and let me tell ya it was the best dip I’ve ever had!!!! The pita bread used to dip it with were just as yummy. I highly recommend going here. I also had the key west martini which was so good as well!!!

The atmosphere at the restaurant is really pleasant and comforting: nice decor, smooth jazz in the air, dimmed light.
We went there for my husband’s birthday, and I was ready to struggle with menu, because it’s a grill bar I ordered stuffed mushrooms (it’s an appetizer) and a side of grilled asparagus – there was literally no main dish for vegetarians. But it was pretty nice. Hubby enjoyed his steak and Caesar salad as well. The cocktails were ok. The tap beer was good.
Things that spolied the impression: dented tops of salt and pepper shakers; absence of coasters and use of cheap napkins instead; long wait on the entrance to be seated.
I didn’t visit their restroom, so I don’t know if there are any unpleasant surprises.

First I need to say that the food is excellent! We had the petite filet and 22oz T-bone Steak. Both cooked and prepared well. Mashed potatoes also very good. The veg was eh but we were there for the steak.

Our beef (pun intended) was the service. Although our server was extremely attentive and really communicative and great, waiting an hour for medium rare and medium steaks was baffling. But more confusing was the drape in the women’s bathroom for one of the stalls. If you are steak place and charging your pricing, clean up your kitchen and get a door for your bathroom stall. Otherwise, the food is worth the visit (maybe just takeout and loads of advance time to the kitchen)

ABSOLUTELY the worst experience I have ever encountered at a supposed multi starred restaurant. We made reservations because it was V-Day. The reservations were for 4-430. I was suprising the wife with dinner. She had been mentioning Flame for some time because neither of us had tried it and this was that big moment. Lets just say complete waste of time. I live 40 min away, we drove all the way there to be completely let down. We walked in. The hostess verified our name. It was under the wife’s last name. She sent us to the bar where we stood for an hour without a word being spoken to us. The bartender was a beautiful young woman but was not having a good evening because her attitude was not conducive to the already poor experience we were having. We watched over and over other couples who came in after us get seated and even watched two couples come directly to the bar and eat even though we were told we had to have reservations to eat when I called. Im not sure who owns this establishment or if they even read the reviews written about experiences there, but this needs to be noted and documented. This was awful. Over an hour in drive time alone. The complete day with preparation and intention to drive to the restaurant ruined. All we had was 3 beers and one mixed drink. Could of had this at our local bar or grill. Complete missed opportunity.

Fantastic steaks! My husband said it was the best Ribeye he’s had in a very long time. Visited on a weekend stay to Carbondale. We arrived around 7:30pm on Saturday and thankfully there was no wait. Comfy booths with high backs. Excellent staff, very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Highly recommend the Root Vegetable Hash, never heard of it but oh so good.

If I could rate 10 stars I would.

We had waiter Justin. Great service from him.

My wife and I ate with another couple. All four of us loved every bit of the food and drinks we had. Zero complaints.

If there was a perfectly cooked pretzel this restaurant knows how to do it.

I had the filet cooked medium and it was delicious!

Our first guests came into town and we celebrated with some fine dining at Flame Bar and Grill. We did not have reservations but we will do that next time. We had a drink in the bar which was very nice and wonderful friendly service. We then sat in main dining at truly the best table with only a 15 minute wait. We saw very large parties being served if you have a crowd. Our server was very nice and attentive and we did not feel rushed at all. Food was great and prices were fair for what we ordered and portion size. I would save this stop for special occasions we are definitely going back to try other things on their menu!

Was wondering how we were able to walk into such a restaurant without reservations on New Years Eve, but found out why. Service was atrocious. Everything took 15+ minutes and the restaurant was not that busy. 15 minutes for our first drink, old fashions which you couldn’t even taste the whiskey in. 15 minutes for bread and butter, with hair in the butter, 15 minutes till the appetizer, actually the best part of the meal. Another 20-25 minutes for our entrée, a MR filet and seared tuna. While both were decent, The steak was pushing past medium and the tuna was cold. Which indicates to me the server just left it sitting while probably working on closing duties or something. I ordered a beer to go with my meal which never arrived and was not checked on beyond the first bite of food. So, after an hour and forty minutes and $130, I was left wishing we had just gont to Chili’s.

We were in town to get certified to teach mountain biking level 1. The last night we decided to try this place. The menu sounded great and they had wine! Let’s break it down

Atmosphere – very charming restaurant, clean and friendly.

Service – our server was very helpful. She recommended the creamy seafood pasta dish I got and it was . She was quick to refill our drinks and always had a smile.

Cost – entrées were reasonably priced

Food – everything was so so good! my seafood pasta was delicious! Tom got a burger (typical!) and he said it was cooked perfectly and very good. Our friend Angela got the tuna – and she loved it. She also got soup and said it was . The bread, wine, and beer were all very good also. Highly recommend this place!

Would have been five stars, however my wife and I went there for the first time(on my birthday) and I really wanted the tomahawk steak. The waitress came took our order only to come back about 10 min. Later and say they were out of the tomahawk and offered me a porterhouse instead. The steak was great but not what we went for.
