I love the margaritas and that you can get them take away in a bottle to go but the food itself is not the best. I love tacos and i’ve tried the chicken, steak, and pork and every time i’m disappointed. The meat quality could be better and i’ve definitely made better tacos at home. The chips were fresh but nothing special. Way too overpriced for the food quality to be so bad. I understand that the margaritas are almost $10 each because they’re frozen and pretty strong but still a bit pricy for mid mexican food. I’d go back for the margaritas but that’s it.

Look. The service meets my standards. But I’ve been here about 4 times now, and I never… EVER…. Pick up my food hot. I order online, walk in 5 minutes later… boom food is ready which is supposed to be good… right?
No. It’s cold, pretty much room temperature. I’m fortunate enough to not have gotten food poisoning… but I really can’t trust food from this place any more. Something is going on here, and I know my food is not fresh. I understand if you all just don’t want to be at work on a Friday or Saturday night…. But people are eating YOUR food. Please don’t play around about that.

This was my third time here and for a quick fast casual mexican restaurant style, I really enjoyed it. The highlights for me were the tamales and really strong margaritas, and not to mention a happy hour. The wait can be long if it’s busy. The portions are fair and the food is tasty. I’d go back again.

The americans in the front taking orders were making racially insensitive jokes about the hispanics working in the kitchen. I found that pretty upsetting. If the food was at least good that would be one thing, but mediocre overpriced food *and* racism? Too much. There are plenty of authentic taquerias in this neighborhood worth eating at

Ordered the chips, guac, black bean taco, black bean tamale and a margarita.
The chips and guac are sold separately. They’re a good portion which is expected for the $11 total price tag. The guac needs salt. It’s too sour and the chips are also unsalted and break so easily. I’m not even exaggerating.
The green and red salsa taste like water. also no exaggeration. No spice or flavor unfortunately.
The tamale is decent! Good price and good size and flavor. Maybe a bit more salt on the beans but pretty good.
The taco was ok. Not bad but could use a little more salt.
The margarita was ok. Portion and taste was ok. But served in what looked like a dollar tree plastic fogged up glass and no rim. There was also a lot of separation going on in the drink.
Lastly you’re asked to pay and tip to place your order. Meaning you don’t get to tip accordingly to service. Regardless I tipped. But no one checked in on me once after my food was dropped off as you normally do in a restaurant.
Would come back but they need to upgrade their salsas and chips and use a little more salt.

Excellent spot to have some Mexican food and a drink. Chill atmosphere, quick service, clean. Love the fact it’s a very urban location under the train tracks.

Classic Chicago atmosphere. Good food. Vegan options. Amazing chips and guac. And the margaritas will get you lit. Love it.

Great people, good food. Mini Burrito plate is a great way to taste test. We liked the ancho and al pastor.
