This weekend we did a food tour in downtown Boone, NC. FizzEd was one of the stops on the tour, and we loved it. Our tour guide from Blue Ridge Food Tours pointed out the beautiful mural of Doc and Merle Watson on the side of the building as we made our way inside. Once we were seated, our tasting item arrived magically fast. We were treated to a pineapple mocktail and a pineapple mimosa. Our guide mentioned that FizzEd has a reputation in the downtown for having great mocktails and we totally see why. They nailed it. The drinks were fun, delicious, and beautifully garnished. Although the restaurant was busy in the holiday weekend, their service and staff were impressive. All the restaurant guests seemed happy, and very well cared for by the staff. The atmosphere of the place is fun, and family friendly. What a great place!

We went to Fizz Ed for dinner on a Saturday and had a great time. The hostess greeted us warmly and sat us right away, even bringing out crayons to keep our toddler entertained—which was a thoughtful touch.

The atmosphere was lively with some really good live music, and the beer selection was solid. The menu has a great selection, so there’s something for everyone. We ordered the cauliflower wings (tasty and flavorful), the gochujang-tossed tenders (unique and delicious), and mac & cheese with chicken tenders for our toddler, which she loved.

One thing that made the experience even easier was their dedicated parking lot—super convenient in Boone.

Overall, it was a fun and family-friendly spot with great food, drinks, and music. Definitely recommend checking it out!

Cool little place that serves comfort food in downtown Boone. If you love Sloppy Joe’s and Mac and Cheese, this is your place. The Sloppy Joe dip and chips is a crowd pleasing appetizer. They also have good, made in house, lemonade. It hit the spot on a cold night in the mountains.

We got sat pretty quickly but we sat for about 10 minutes before our server came to take a drink order. After that he seemed to try and stay no more then 30 seconds when he checked on us, which was rare. The food was pretty good. The sloppy Joe dip was the best part of the meal. The drinks we sub par and super expensive so I suggest skipping anything with spirits.

Decent food at a local brewery. Kinda a wild experience when our server didn’t know what a sour beer was though.

Told us she had an IPA, if that would work. lol

Read great things about this place and wanted to give it a try.
From the moment we walked in it was a great experience. Our server was also bartending but was attentive, helpful and made great margaritas. The food was creative, fresh and delicious. Prices were very reasonable. Our daughter goes to APP and we have enjoyed checking out the Boone food scene. This is now one of our favorites!

Meal was delicious and service was attentive. I really enjoyed the raspberry jerk sauce, and I wish I’d had a bit more Caesar dressing on my side salad. Fries were perfect.

We were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was here. I ordered the 2 hotdogs with Sloppy Joe, with sauteed Seasonal Vegetables. Both were excellent.

My wife had Big Dave’s Chooped Pork Sandwich with homemade potato chips. She enjoyed them quite a bit.
We met an owner, Amy, who was very pleasant and wanted to make sure we were happy.
I’d highly recommend.

Recently enjoyed a mocktail at Fizz Ed while on a tour with Blue Ridge Food Tours and it was very refreshing . Heard they have live music and I’m hoping to go back again soon for that soon.
