Five Star Mediterranean absolutely lives up to its name. The food is incredibly flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. Every dish we tried was packed with bold, authentic taste. On top of that, the owner is genuinely friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. You can tell they care about both the food and the people who walk through the door. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Fantastic food and service! Everything we had was so fresh and flavorful. The chef/owner was very attentive and you can tell he puts love into his food.
The portions are huge and now we get to enjoy the meal again, at home, as leftovers!
Plenty of free public parking lots nearby. We got there right at 11am and had no issue finding a spot.
This is such a hidden gem. We can’t wait to go back!

From the moment we walked into Five Stars Mediterranean, we felt the warmth of a genuine Lebanese household. The atmosphere is inviting, clean, and full of the rich smells of authentic Mediterranean spices that immediately make you hungry in the best way.
What truly sets this place apart is the passion behind the food, especially from Chef Ahmed. You can tell right away that he cares deeply about what he serves and about every guest who walks in. He takes pride in preparing dishes that are not only delicious but also true to the traditions of Lebanese cuisine. His passion shows in the flavors — everything tastes fresh, balanced, and made with real love. It’s rare to see a chef personally check on guests, but Ahmed does it with a smile because he genuinely wants people to enjoy their experience.
The food itself was outstanding. The hummus was silky and rich, the shawarma tender and perfectly seasoned, and the salads crisp and vibrant. Portions were generous, and every dish felt like something you would be served at a family gathering back home. You can taste the quality in every bite.
Service was excellent as well — friendly, fast, and attentive without being pushy. The staff clearly enjoys working here and believes in the food they serve. The restaurant is clean, organized, and priced very fairly for the quality you receive.
It’s disappointing to see anyone leave a negative review, especially when this restaurant puts so much heart into what they do. Our experience was nothing less than five-star.

The food was absolutely fabulous- the best Mediterranean food I’ve had ❤️ The owner was just an absolute delight! Very attentive and kind. Probably the most welcoming man on the planet. I went here with a large group as a last minute plan. The owner was so accommodating despite the fact that 12 of us showed up without a reservation. The food was phenomenal – especially the chicken tawook. I would highly recommend going here and if you are with a large group get the family platter – it was delicious.

Where is the sixth star? That was an amazing lunch. My friends and I just left and I can’t stop raving about the combination of excellent food with exceptional service in a top notch, clean environment. More specifically, the secret recipe of that baba ghanoush was the best I’ve ever had, the portions of the gyro and combinations of other ingredients was wonderful, And the dessert was absolutely stellar – i’ve never had such a subdued, sweet and savory delicacy like that. I’m not a food connoisseur, but I am leaving a lengthy review for the first time in my life because I want more people to know about this restaurant!

Deserving of the name !! Akhmed was the kindest man with such a jubilant smile and energy! You can tell they really care about the food and customer experience. Their hummus is one of the smoothest, creamiest hummus I have ever had. I am coming back Monday just to eat the hummus!!! The kibbeh was delicious. And the entrees were generously portioned and the meats were incredibly juicy and tender. I had the kofta and my friend had the marinated chicken, both so tender and flavorful. I will be coming back here again and again. Great birthday meal for my friend!

Was excited to try this restaurant based on such a high rating and great reviews. The falafel appetizer was tasty. The gyro was alright, you can get much better in the city though. The beef shawarma had a lot of gristle in it. The fries were good. Portions were large and the veggies seemed fresh. Service was alright, some employees were friendlier than others. Overall a decent place for lunch or takeout, but not somewhere I would end up frequenting.
