In the tiny town of Albemarle, NC. there is a terrific restaurant called Five Points Public House. We had a 30 minute wait to get our table on a Friday at 6:30, but no fret, the wait was well worth it. Our server Lily, was the cutest young lady that knew her stuff, energetic, on point, and was good enough to know to check in with our table every step of the way. When I complimented her service and the food, she was gracious and appreciative. She went on further to explain that her was “the cook”; I had to laugh because the food was so excellent, that I wouldn’t call her father a cook, but rather “a chef” as each meal was painstakingly made to order. I had the Ahi Tuna, a meal I’ve had around the United States…it’s a simple meal that can easily be screwed up, but not here, it was prepared to perfection and was plated with a creamed wasabi which was excellent, the Mahi was as fresh as could be…steaks were cooked perfectly.
We all enjoyed ourselves and I would give this restaurant a high recommendation! Thanks team, you were excellent!

Came here for a birthday and it was quite busy on a Tuesday night. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The food was good! The desserts were big enough to share and much sweeter than we thought, but were also good.

Was in town for training and had a long lunch, looking for something local and not fast food. Found this place on Google had good ratings. Sat at bar. Bartender was very attentive, had bacon cheeseburger was really good and loved the steak fries. All the food that was coming out looked really good. The decor is really nice. Not many local nice places around here to eat so I imagine they could wait time on peak times to eat. Also a lot of TVs

We had such a wonderful dinner at Five Points Public House! We started with the pretzels as an appetizer, and they were the perfect soft, warm, and salty start to our meal. My husband ordered the Mahi Mahi, and it was cooked to perfection—flaky, flavorful, and so fresh. I went with the sirloin steak topped with shrimp, and it was absolutely delicious. The steak was tender and seasoned perfectly, and the shrimp added the perfect touch. Everything came out hot and beautifully plated. The service was friendly and attentive without being rushed, and the atmosphere was welcoming. We will definitely be back—this is a gem in Albemarle!

This place is terrible! Ordered two kids salmon dinners for my child and I and they were disgusting. The salmon had zero seasoning, NO flavor, not even a slice of lemon on the side, and tasted VERY fishy. The pieces of fish were TINY and NOT worth the price.
The side of broccoli was cold, and did not taste fresh. I’m pretty sure it was frozen broccoli from a bag.
The “fruit cup” wasn’t a cup at all, it came in a TINY ranch size dipping sauce container. Very disappointing.
This is exactly why I stick with LongHorn Steakhouse. Great portions!

We stopped by for a late lunch on our way to the state park and glad we did. The food was delicious and the ambiance was perfect. The collards had a nice balance of sweetness and tanginess to it. I got a nashville hot chx sandwich and it was yum! My husband eagerly devoured his burger and liked it. And to top it off our server, Becky was a real sweetheart. We’ll surely be back.

We just moved to Badin so looking for a good place to eat for my birthday. I’m so glad we eat here, I had a cheeseburger and fried okra the burger was huge and juicy my daughter got buffalo chicken tacos also amazing. Or server Kay was very sweet. I even got a free dessert for my birthday
