Our favourite memory of visiting Indiana! The staff were incredible. We loved being in the coffee shop and sitting at the outdoor patio. We visited Five Lakes every day we were in Auburn (sometimes twice in one day). We would return all the way from Ontario, Canada (6 hr drive) just to enjoy the coffee shop again! The food and drinks were both absolutely delicious.

Likes to serve burnt coffee. This has happened to me so many times I can tell just by the color of it now so I had them try one and she proceeded to say that was terrible and remake it with the same burnt batch of coffee and try to cover it up by adding more milk and flavor instead of solving the problem and making a fresh batch. This is the only coffee shop I like and I go every day they know my order before I even order but this is getting ridiculous it happens multiple times a week now and nothing ever gets done about it.
Edit: this is the second day in a row that I have gotten coffees that I cannot drink I spend almost $15 everyday for two coffees and if management or ownership cannot do anything to fix this issue that happens multiple times a week I will not be returning anymore. This is absolutely unacceptable to hand burnt coffee out of the window to customers. There’s no denying that it’s burnt and they don’t know about it considering I can smell it before I even drink it as well as looking at the color of it. Do better.

Always friendly and always kind –rarely do we wait much at all or have an order messed up …they give our dogs cute pup cups when we ask and they are a consistent safe place to order from….the Starbucks in Auburn is such a stark opposite…we never know if they are going to make us wait over 40mins or get orders completely wrong… order dairy free and get dairy… 5 lakes is the place to go instead for sure!

Was recently traveling through Indiana on our way to Michigan and stumbled upon this coffee shop. I’m very picky about my coffee and am frequently disappointed with the quality and taste. Not so with Five Lakes Coffee! I was greeted by friendly staff and had an excellent cup of coffee. Loved the pet wall! Didn’t have a pic of my fur-babies, but showed the staff a pic on my phone. Wish there was a Five Lakes Coffee in NC!

I love coming to this Five Lakes because the workers are always so friendly and helpful! I’ve been to some of the other stores and I always find this one so much cleaner and more inviting inside! I get an iced white chocolate caramel mocha and it is amazing every time! My favorite part about this store was the pet wall and I am so sad to see it go. That was the first thing that I would look at when I came in the store and while I was waiting for my drink. I’m really disappointed that it was taken down. I would love to see it be put back up where all customers could see it. I feel that it is an important part of a small business to build a community with their area and this just seems like a poor decision on the management’s part.

I typically go to the Angola location, but always love swinging into the Auburn location when I’m in the area! I will say though, when I was there this weekend, I was so sad to see the wall of dog pics gone…my girlfriends and I always loved looking at all the furry little faces while we waited for our coffee! I see from the comments that others miss them too, so hopefully you can bring it back soon…dogs make people happy, and that was one of the things I loved most about going to that location!
Regardless of location, Five Lakes has the best staff, clean and cozy spaces to catch up with friends, and delicious coffee – 10/10 recommend!

Love coming to this coffee shop! The people are so nice. Just wish that the wall with all the dog pictures was still there. We always look froward to looking at all the pictures every time we visit! PLEASE bring that back!

Great place to stop and get a drink really love the people and the atmosphere here. Love to walk in and see the pictures of all the animals that have came through the drive thru. Pretty upset that they got rid of it. Other than that I am very satisfied with this place.
