Contemporary bar drawing crowds for its big list of draft beers & whiskeys, plus American fare.

Understaffed when I was there so it took over 10 minutes for a server to come to our table after seating. We almost left. My daughter got a plain cheeseburger with bacon that was a whopping $32. It was $22 on the menu but since we asked for a gluten free bun and bacon they added $10. I have seen better looking burgers at tasty burger and five guys. Sorry not coming back to this restaurant

10 Stars!!! Mimi was our server and David was our beer guy. Mimi was quick and efficient. David was super knowledgeable about all the different beers in the area, on their tap, and what we would like according to our tastes. Food was excellent! I had their fish and chips. Fish was fried perfectly, crispy on the outside, moist and tender white flesh fish in the center. My wife also loved her Powerbowl salad and my son enjoyed his asian wings. Between the service and the food, I would tell all my friends in Boston to check out this place.

Nice beer tap selection. They have been flights. Clean restrooms. Tasty food. Street parking if you can find any. They also do take out. Friendly staff. Very yummy fries.

They advertise themselves as being gluten friendly but are actually quite the opposite. Big attitude when asked for gluten free alternatives and then forced to eat whatever they suggested without the option of changing.
Would never go again.
When asking for gf bun, was told that a lettuce wrap won’t kill me. Had to eat mozzarella, pesto, and tomato in a lettuce.

Five Horses Tavern crushed it. We just strolled in for a quick bite but stayed because the atmosphere was too good to leave. The Fish & Chips were perfection with crispy haddock, Old Bay wedges, and tartar so good it could end wars. The mac and cheese with grilled chicken was pure comfort food magic. The staff even sang happy birthday to you’s since my girlfriend and I have our birthdays one day apart and made us feel like family. Honestly, the Boston folks here made this New Yorker feel right at home which is unsettling in the best way.

Liredi was great and a good sport about recommending things. The host was working his last day and not friendly. He was more concerned with taking calls outside then getting the door for old ladies. The food is OK. I ordered the fish and chips. The cod was good, but the potato wedges were like a fourth of a potato and meh. The worst part of the meal was actually the strawberry shortcake to go. Looks like the kitchen staff started preparing it, then realized it was to go scrape the toppings off and to toss it in a container. They gave me about a tablespoon worth of Strawberries and a bowl of whipped cream out of the can. I very much enjoyed my drink. This is a good place to go if you wanna drink and chitchat with the weight staff, but I’d eat dinner before you go. And expect to get the door by yourself. LOL

We came here for dinner and enjoyed our food. There is a good variety of options on the menu but nothing inspiring or very unique. That being said the food is good and if you’re with a group everyone will likely be able to find something they like. I actually prefer this restaurant for breakfast/brunch. The donuts are a delicious way the start, and the mimosa flight obviously. Overall we enjoyed our experience and our waiter was very attentive and polite.

They were out of quite a few specials despite the fact that it was only 6 pm! Server was great, most of the food was good.
Unfortunately, my friends ordered the buttermilk chicken. It was burnt and dry. The mashed potatoes were unappetizing. They barely ate their meals.

Very nice neighborhood bar and restaurant with plenty of food options and even better craft beer options. I had the power bowl and that was really good. But getting Maine and Hill Farmstead beer from the tap is special. Also great barkeeper and very friendly service.

I was suprised find this tavern packed on a (random) Tuesday night and to be able to get a table, rather quickly, despite not having a reservation; Thanks to Krystal the hostess at the time. The food was delicious for both me and my husband and we were served by both Lucy and Emma, which were both so nice and thoughtful. Ps. If you are on a diet, like me, try their secret salad.
