One of the very few decent burger joints in town.
If there is one thing that you can count on at five guys, it’s the consistency of fresh made burgers!
On my most recent trip, I ordered two double bacon with cheese, and pickles. Our buns were very fresh and the burgers were cooked to perfection.
The staff and this location is well trained, polite, and quite efficient. Our orders are always out in a timely fashion.
If you are looking for a good burger in the Modesto/Riverbank area, then I highly suggest this five guys location

First time tried five guys. We have a lot of good local burger places so I wanted to experience this burger place and understand why their prices are so high and if it’s justified. My verdict is that it’s not worth the price. It’s a decent burger places. The burger is fresh and fries are okay and not something I haven’t experienced in any other local burger shops. I have had similar burgers and fries in other local burger places like Bob’s giant burger and with a fraction of price. The burgers taste similar to habit burger so there is nothing extraordinary. Their fries when cold tasted worse than McDonald’s. I wouldn’t be a regular here anytime soon.

This place is pretty good. The burger was a little over cooked but otherwise it was okay. The fries seemed burnt also. The price is ridiculously high for what you get. The staff were friendly and quick. The wait isn’t long for a fresh grilled burger. They’re also generous with napkins and ketchup packets.

My burger was not so great. The bun was completely soggy as if it were soaked in water before they assembled it. This ruined the entire texture of the burger. Both of my friends said the same thing about theirs. I will not be coming here again.

I ordered for take out and first thing I see as I unwrap my burger from the foil is a red long hair. Instantly it killed my appetite and never ate it. Don’t go here unless you want to spend an arm & a leg for a burger with red hairs on them.

My family and I ate at Five guys on Friday 12/5. When my husband called to put in the order the employee where playing on the phone. Answering saying “Hello papi”. We drive from Oakdale to get our food and drove home to eat. When we got home we started eating my son found hair in the fries and I found hair inside my cheeseburgers. I immediately called Five Guys and told them what happened. I told them I wanted my money back. They wanted me to drive back to do a refund I said no I wasn’t coming back after I already drove back to Oakdale. They told me I could come back the next day with my receipt. When my husband went back the next day he asked to speak to a manger he was there for a refund. The employee told her manager he wanted to speak to her and she wouldn’t go up to the register saying he didnt need to speak to her and what did he want like he couldnt hear her!! The girl stood there not knowing what to say my husband held up his receipt and she said he wants a refund. She was another manager than the night before so she tried to gave him a hard time telling him she couldn’t give him a refund because he waiting to come back. We have been coming to the Riverbank location since it opened but we won’t be coming back to this location.
