Anyway the service was great!
They keep a list of any customers not satisfied with the service and aim to make it right. It’s no wonder the manager’s name is Patience, and she was more than willing to make my experience better. This was right before Neil heard my story from last November about no bacon my burger and to make sure it would be on this time. Well, I was willing to forget the promise to make the burger again at no charge (cuz it was last year lol). Patience insisted the burger be on the house. Chris on the grill, and the rest of the kitchen team made the best bacon cheeseburger ever. I already forgot about last year’s experience!!! Exceptional service.

I made my order online through the app when about ten minutes away. Arrived at the store and clicked “I’m here”. Inside the store was chaos – perhaps two dozen people waiting for orders. After a few minutes of waiting my app said “Thank you for picking up your order” and logging it as complete – but no order was received. I asked the counter staff and they shrugged and said “I have no way of tracking your order – there are many stacked up ahead of you.” A manager said it might be another 30 minutes or more… so I asked for a refund. She didn’t know how to do that, so a second manager (“Zach”) took my email down and said it would be a few days to process. I am professionally embarrassed for you. I have never seen an established organization like Five Guys have such a monumental breakdown in supply chain management. Your 40th birthday BOGO is a tremendous BUST, and we will unfortunately move you from our favorite burger place to somewhere below Burger King.
