I was given the wrong burger (missing toppings) and when I kindly asked the front staff member for the remaining toppings he requested to have my sandwich. He walked around the kitchen holding the burger open asking for bacon. When bacon was not available he handed my open sand which back to be (over the counter) and told me they would get me the toppings when they can. No apology or anything. After 10minutes I went back upfront since no toppings were given and he again took my sandwhich, finally added bacon and handed me the same sandwich back. I’m pretty sure there are rules about taking food back and reserving it for sanitary purposes. The worst part was the lack of consideration.

ordered online, showed up on time, took and additional 30 minutes to get food. Burgers were in the window the whole time dying, why we waited on the $6 cups of French fries. It used to be ok because you got a ton of extra fries in the back , but not now, we got three small dixie cups of fries for $20… burger tasted good, but ordered lettuce and there might be one flake. I’m not opposed to paying for good food ($60 for three burgers and three fries), but Mr. Burger on Northland would have been much, much better.

A sandwich alone for 11.69?!? Then make it a combo for another $6???? Very expensive for standard fast food. No better quality than just going to Burger king or Wendy’s. First time I’ve ever been and won’t be back.

I’m thrilled to finally have a Five Guys near my house, but my first stop at this location wasn’t great. Service was a little slow and the fries were undercooked – I think they missed a step. I’m hoping this is just growing pains & I’ll update this review once they get the kinks worked out.

UPDATE: Changed from 3 stars to 4. Went back a week later and the fries were what they should be. The reason this isn’t a 5 is because of the prices – they’re really high.

The best place I’ve been to. Although the one on 28th street has 1 employee that was horrendous she was slamming things around dropping the F bomb at the other employees and treated me like I killed her dog, all cause I said I didn’t want cheese and the cashier didn’t hear that and i wasn’t rude about it. The rest of the crew was always nice but the one out by Rivertown mall and the one on the Beltline. Chefs kiss all the way around from the way they treated the customers and the way they treated each other. I did go back to the one on 28th until I walked in and that lady was there and she was acting like a clown so I went right back out the door.

While picking up my food at their neighbor Detroit wing company(a restaurant you don’t have to mortgage your house to eat at like 5 guys) I got a great laugh. They are charging $6 to make it a combo with a little fry and 20 oz drink. So basically $19 for a cheese burger combo. Absolutely insane.
For the INSANE price they now charge for a burger you would at least expect good service.

Place a Togo order. Arrived a little more than 10 minutes after placing it. And the staff hadn’t even started the order. Hadn’t even taken the receipt off the printer. Yet when I walked in there was one other person in the restaurant. And all 3 employees were standing around talking with each other. While the one was watching the 2 burgers on the grill. So then I waited another 10 minutes while they slowly made my food. And the food isn’t even that good anymore. I think they changed to a cheaper meat. Even my gf doesn’t want their food anymore.

Honestly I didn’t want to go here but my girlfriend did. Because while I used to love 5 guy’s food. Their chain started on the concept of a good and affordable burger. I can get a BETTER burger with fries INCLUDED at almost any restaurant for the cost of a burger here now.

2 double burgers and 2 small fries. For$42.00 the food was not good. Worst experience I’ve ever had with getting fast food. There was some horrid smell on both burgers. I had onion my wife did not. The smell and taste was chemical and I couldn’t eat the sandwich after a few bites. I drove about 15 miles out of my way to go there and it was too far and more of a hassle to try and go back. Once you leave the building you can’t prove the issue is from 5 guys. I will not be going back there anytime soon. I’ll spend my money elsewhere for better Food and money for take out. So disappointed ☹️

My happy place is eating peanuts and watching the team while I wait for my food. It’s so great to see a group of people working efficiently and happily (is that weird?). One visit I accidentally had ordered carry out from a different location. They made up my meal and contacted the other store, no questions asked. On top of all that they make a damn fine burger!
