I always like the consistency of Five Guys Burgers and Fries.
We stopped in for lunch while visiting my daughter on MSU campus. Parking in the garage is not that hard and it’s a short walk to the business.
Upon entering. This location is long and narrow compared to other locations. The ordering is standard. The guy at the counter was very helpful and pretty cool. The entire staff was chatting and welcoming.
We ordered our usual. Two burgers with all our fav toppings and large fry to split.
The condiment counter is about half way though the dining room.
Burgers were very good. Fries all be it always very good have gotten a tad less on quantity. I always loved the extra scoop in the bag:)
Why four stars.
Well. I do NOT like when confronted with a ” tip ” screen while immediately standing in front of someone. That is absolutely unacceptable. Awkward and annoying. It’s fast food. You don’t tip McDonald’s why you here. No one does table service. So. Get rid of it. Tip fatigue. !
We will be back for sure to enjoy another really good burger !

I just had one of the best meals of my life thanks to these two legends. The guy on the left made the fries that were crispy, perfectly seasoned, and had my mouth watering. The guy on the right made my bacon double cheeseburger and… OH. MY. LAWD. Absolute perfection. Every bite was unreal. 10/10 across the board. If you see these two lovely men working, you already know you’re about to get an amazing meal.

First time ordering from here. The Bacon cheeseburger was really good. The fries are just not it. I wanted to love them because of the catchy ads, but they were soggy and the seasoning wasn’t that good. For the price of them, it was pretty disappointing. We ordered the Cajun fries. I’d have the burger again.

Be careful if you choose to eat here, ate leftovers 2-3 days later and got food poisoning. I’ve been vomiting for 2 days straight and cannot eat solids still. I called multiple times today for an explanation and there was no answer. Be careful eating here. My friend also got sick after eating their meal they ordered as well and they ate it the day after. Not sure if food is not being handled properly or if it is reaching expiration well before customers consumption.

The staff promptly took my order.The bacon cheeseburger was fresh and delicious. The fries were excellent.The Coca-Cola Freestyle machine was functioning properly.All areas were clean.
There was a very lively atmosphere that I will definitely return to. While it is certainly on the more expensive side, the quality justifies the price.

Great food, just wish they only put fries in the fry bag & then put the fry bag in an overall take out bag. Keeps the ketchup bags (that we never ask for?) that have been sitting who knows where off peoples fries. Plus it would make the burger wrappers less greasy & salty so you can actually unwrap & lay it out without making a mess on your surface.

Recently they have significantly reduced the portion of the regular fry. It no longer comes in the cup, just a small bag. (I actually thought I was given the wrong size so I confirmed with the shift lead.) The old generous shareable fry portion was a big draw for me so I doubt I’ll find myself returning.

Service was exceptional, and remember there is parking available north of E. Grand River Ave. just south of the alley.
