To put it more simply:
You staff is amazing and wonderful, your facility clean and professional, and your food delicious, but yes, overpriced, but can kinda understand due to inflation.
Would we recommend? 100%
This is the worst-tasting experience I have ever had at Five Guys, and this is our go-to spot! I was there between 5-530pm today, 5/15/25. I ordered a Little double with cheese, mayo, tomato, and little fries. The tomato was mushy and old, probably swimming in its juices, and the fries I was craving were cold from the moment I got in my car (maybe 30s after grabbing my order). Most of them are burnt or fried in nasty oil. Other than the tomato and bit of grease, the burger was tasteless. I may have interrupted the nice break the only 2 employees were having. I hope the fact they were not busy is an excuse, but not a good one…
When I arrived, there were about 10 employees working. It wasn’t slammed, just moderately busy. While I was there, I called the store again to see if the phone even worked. It rang and rang—no one picked up.
I approached the manager to explain that I had tried calling earlier. Before I could finish, she walked away and came back with lettuce, assuming that was all I needed. I was actually trying to ask why no one is ever available to answer the phone. She said they were just too busy.
Here’s the thing—if staff genuinely don’t have the bandwidth to answer phones or help with basic customer needs, that’s not just a service issue—it’s a staffing and wage issue. If businesses aren’t paying enough for adequate staffing or are stretching their teams too thin, it’s no wonder service suffers. But customers are still paying full price, and we deserve better than silence on the other end of the line.
Honestly, I’m also starting to wonder if lettuce was removed from the DoorDash menu just to slow down orders—which, if true, is incredibly frustrating and misleading.
Everyone deserves fair pay and support to do their job well. If that’s not happening here, it shows—and not just in the food, but in the experience.
