Friends who’ve been to Five Guys all say it’s good, but personally, I think its main advantage is the portion size; the taste is only so-so in the US. It’s far inferior to the Boston local brand Tasty Burger.
Cheeseburger: Huge, I felt full just after finishing it… The patty was freshly grilled, and the juices and fat were passable, but not particularly memorable; the bun was a bit soggy, like it was steamed (though definitely not). Free toppings are a special feature, especially with 15 kinds—very generous! Many guides recommend “All the way,” but that might not be suitable. I only added grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, tomato, and steak sauce, and I already felt it was too much. It lowered the patty’s temperature, interfered with the grilling aroma, caused the flavors to mix, and added unnecessary calories. I suggest adding about two toppings according to your own taste. Sometimes less is more!
Little Fries: It’s hard to imagine that this little fries was more than twice the size of a large fries at McDonald’s in China; it completely overwhelmed the burger in the paper bag. Later, I checked RedNote (a Chinese social media platform) and found out that this was a brand specialty—no matter how much you ordered, they would give you an extra bunch of fries. The fries were cut very thick, fried with the skin on, and made with peanut oil, so the aroma was especially strong, and the texture was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. But all of this was just too sinful…
Regular Soda: I chose the strawberry lemonade, which felt like it had a lot of artificial coloring and was also very sweet.

Just stopped by, the guy calling out the order numbers gave my burger to someone else, and the customer returned it after fully opening it, and double wrapped the burger in foil, hid it under the table and gave it to the next customer, which was me.

I was a customer until today! (I bought a lot) In my free time I make extra money with delivery apps. I asked the cashier to use the bathroom and she said that she didn’t allow Uber DD workers! I left the restaurant, canceled my order, and I’ll never set foot in a Five Guys again. I’ll eat somewhere else, I’ll work somewhere else.

The place was very busy. The inside is very plain and uninviting. The service was pretty good and quick. The food came out fairly fast considering how busy they were. The food we got was excellent. I had a shake and an BLT and my buddy got some Cajun fries. It is a little pricey but the quality is good.

I was picking up a delivery and asked to use the bathroom, and the manager refused just because I’m a delivery driver. That honestly felt unnecessary and rude. I get having rules, but basic courtesy goes a long way. Definitely disappointing. He said his name is He-man lol

Manager is great. Hardworking and knows how to take care of the guests here. 10/10 only come back because I know he’s managing.
