The advertising says homemade. I would say this is true because they make the kind of burgers you would make at home. On your stove top. Bacon cheeseburger had one piece of bacon on it. Ordered Cajun fries and received regular fries. Definitely cheap. That’s a plus. Cook/server seems earnest. Probably fine for a quick cheap lunch but definitely not a destination to go to specifically. Very limited menu.

Though the quality of the hamburger beef was very nice, the poor execution of my cheeseburger prompted a lower review of Five Breads. I ordered my burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup and mustard. Upon the sandwich was one very sad leaf of lettuce, one half (end) slice of a tomato, a few chopped onions, the ketchup and mustard, and no pickles. The menu is quite standard, set up similarly to Five Guys, hamburgers, dogs, chicken sandwiches, veggie burgers, fries, etc., however, I am not sure where the “homemade foods” fit in, or the “five breads”. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is….interesting. The bathroom toilet didn’t flush nor did the bathroom light work. The owner/cook is very sweet and I wish her business well, I wouldn’t tell anyone not to go as some people might like their cheeseburgers scantily clad. However, I doubt that I’ll be visiting again.

So I call ahead of time to get some fries with cheese on the side. I then arrive to pick it up. I ask for some bbq sauce or honey mustard. The owner tells me all there is only ketchup, which is fine but I have a sneaking suspicion she is lying to me. Most places of business greet you with a smile because they want your money but I have never gotten that treatment here while I have seen other less black customers receive warm greetings. Anyway I wanted to confirm my suspicions that the owner was lying to me so after I left I called again from another phone with a country accent. I ordered a bbq bacon burger with bbq sauce on the side as well as mustard. Suddenly as if done by magic she produced the condiments that I was denied. The fries were okay but needless to say I will not be coming back to this establishment.

Forgot some ingredients on burger. There were a lot of bits of bones in both of our turkey burgers. Won’t be coming back.
