We order these for my grandfather! Last years was amazing, this year everything seems off and different.
The prices definitely don’t match with some of the portional sizes. The meals do not last as long as stated within a freezer, a lot start to smell or they rotten before you even get a chance to eat them.
Highly recommend only getting a week worth at once.
The food is flavorless and would also like the sodium and nutritional value added especially since a dietician comes and checks on what he’s eating it would be perfect.
Some of the higher meals I would lower the prices on. There’s nothing really to being a loyal customer either like a reward system or anything that Ive seen.
This year meals seem to not be as good as last year’s which my grandfather has stated this years has definitely went down hill compared to what he was getting and he doesn’t want half of them because of the mushiness and unwell look the veggies have been getting.
I havent said anything because of course they’re prepping your food, you have to be worried.
But I wish it was like it was last year.
First, are the meals healthy, yes to an extent they are but some are extremely high in carbs. Second, are they all worth the money, absolutely not sadly. For example the steak and eggs you get 3/4 tiny slivers of steak. The wraps that have carrots are moldy by the time you open them even when frozen or refrigerated. The grapes are sour. The lettuce on flatbreads smell horrendous. There is no flavor to most of the meals, they’re bland. A lot of them are overly mushy.
They’re well priced for the better tasting ones and some have decent portions. It’s a hit or miss honestly. Some are good and some are not at all.
I wish the labels had sodium and nutritional facts on it such as ingredients. Some people have allergies.
Some are priced as high as $14 and it’s not worth it. The steak and eggs you could prepare yourself for the price you pay and get a lot more.
I feel like pricing and quality needs to be reconsidered because a lot of the food becomes inedible after being frozen like she states it can be and kept for a few weeks.
