A solid “I liked it”.
October 2011, my family and I dined here for my birthday dinner.
Understanding they were nearly brand new at the time – and the place was full to capacity that night – I’ll not let the exceedingly slow service weigh on my decision to dine there again, this evening, for another family birthday dinner.
In October, the food was (when it arrived), good. Tasty, not terribly original in pairings or menu companions, but tasty all the same.
The New England Clam Chowder, which I’d hoped would be as good as any I’d had was over-salted – almost as if one cook salted during prep and another salted during cooking… and another salted just prior to serving. It was really *that* salty. Now, I am a NE Chowder eater for well over 30 years, and I’ve sampled Jasper White’s chowder at Summer Shack to the common man’s Campbell’s microwave variety for a desk-side lunch. But that NE Chowder last October was the worst.
So, you may be surprised to hear I plan on ordering a *sample* of the chowder this evening, and, fingers-crossed, I hope they have changed the recipe to little or no salt.
The rest of the meal was good, satisfying, and dessert was (unimaginative but sweet). I’ll post a follow-up after this evening’s meal.

Very good seafood restaurant. The Raw seafood platter is what I come here for. Service is attentive. Nice outdoor seating area with bar.
