First of all, wonderful service!
Lovely conversation with the waiter (Liam) who gave me tips on the food, the city, and the rest of my travel. Food: one of the best Seafood Linguine I have ever had in the world. Exaggeration? Not. I’ve been to over a thousand cities in 60+ countries so believe me it suits my taste. Oysters were also the best! Try one of each! They are fresh and tasty!!

We had hand-dived scallops duo lobster/langostines for our main dish. They were fresh and incredibly sweet. The seafood was succulent and moist, and bathed in a rich, herby and hearty garlic butter sauce.
We finished our course with their absolutely delicious sticky toffee pudding. The moist sponge cake was soaked in sticky toffee sauce, which made it incredibly rich. It was balanced out with vanilla ice cream that came with buttery crumbles on the side, adding a layer of crunchiness.

Best seafood in Edinburgh! Staffs are very polite, friendly and helpful!
The restaurant is not that big so reservations is highly recommended as it is a popular seafood restaurant in town.
Everything we ordered from the menu were fresh, delicious and full of flavors! Overall me and my friends were very impressed with their services, food quality and prices! Sure will be back again if I visit Edinburgh in the future!

We booked here because we really wanted langoustines, which were phenomenal, but we enjoyed everything. You absolutely must try the fish soup. The drinks were great. Most of all, the service was incredible. They were so friendly and fun. Until next time!

Went there for lunch. Food was delicious. Fish chowder was super tasty, mussels were very good, super garlicky which I don’t mind. Fish cakes were very good. Lemon sole was ok, there were few bones, not sure about the sauce. Broccoli and chips on the side were good too. We also ordered seafood linguine but after our starters we were so full we had to ask a waiter to cancel the linguine unfortunately. But we were very pleasantly full. Delicious food with good prices.

I wandered into Fishers in the City looking for my first proper fish and chips meal in Scotland, and I definitely struck gold. The fish was perfectly cooked with a crispy, golden batter, and the chips were just as crunchy and satisfying. A little oily, sure, but in the best, hearty, comfortfood way. I hadn’t planned on finding a gem like this it felt like a lucky stumble that made my first dinner in Edinburgh unforgettable!

I love establishments like this one. The ambiance, the waiters, the food. It is really comfortable being there and you know you are going to have a good meal. I had the fish soup which was tasty but not amazing. It had haddock and salmon in it. The fish pieces in the soup were a little chewy. I assume its because the soup is made in a big batch and kept warm during the entire service so the fish gets overcooked. It may be a good idea to add the fish last minute. The scallops were amazing. One of the best I have had. They were really fresh and sweet. The plate worked really well as a whole. My gf had the mussels so no comment on those. It was a shame that I had stomach problems and couldn’t eat much. I will definitely visit again to try lobster and langoustines.

We had a lovely dinner here. Our waiter Liam was friendly, attentive, and had a great knowledge about the wines on offer. The mussels, seafood linguine, and lobster were amazing – some of the best seafood we’ve had. A great atmosphere too.

This is the BEST lobster I’ve ever had – Service is incredible, everyone is so friendly and looks like they really enjoy what they do which is lovely. The atmosphere is so nice & the food is astounding. It was the highlight of our whole trip. Ps. The spiced cherry sorbet is on par with the gelato I’ve had in Italy, was SO good x
