The Fishermens Catch is owned and operated by Bill Coppersmith Jr and his wife, Whitney. Bill has been around Seafood his whole life. From lobstering at a young age to then working in one of his parents seafood stores. Then purchasing the landmark A framed building in Raymond for his own location. We pride ourselves at being the best in the lakes region, from its restaurant, to its fresh seafood market, and wholesale. August 2014 the Downeast Magazine recognized us for having one of the best lobster rolls in the state, and from 2012-2021 we were awarded as the Eagles Choice award for best lobster roll in the lakes region. I’ve patronized Fishermen’s Catch a couple of times, mostly because it’s convenient. They offer their lobster rolls on special at least once a year for a few days so that is what I wait for. Lobster rolls are pretty good but could use a tad more flavor. They used to be $35 but now it’s $38. Would I pay that for a lobster roll with chips? I think not.
I brought my mom here on a separate occasion and she did enjoy her steamed lobster. That time I got their haddock sandwich which came with a side of fries. The fries were crispy and tasty.
Service is usually pretty quick even when there is a little bit of a line. They only have outside dining which could get hectic because it is off of 302.
Overall, they do a solid job but they are on the expensive side.

Always an amazing experience.If you’re looking for fresh lobster, that is consistent in texture, sweet and salty this is the place to stop. We had the crab roll and the lobster roll with butter and mayo.

I had the haddock dinner with onion rings and home made potato salad.
The haddock was cut, cooked, and seasoned perfectly.
The onion rings were great and the potato salad was excellent.
The outdoor dining area was very clean and someone was out there maintaining it while I was there.
Very impressive, I will definitely return.

The food is excellent and the shop is beautiful! The guy that works there is very nice and I wish he was the one assisting me. Unfortunately the blonde-haired person at the window wasn’t as warm and friendly. I am from New York so that typically wouldn’t bother me and I would still tip. But after placing a $30+ order I asked if I could give them my nalgene bottle to fill with tap water and this blonde person arrogantly said “no you can buy a bottle”- I couldn’t believe that in a state that prides themselves on nature and conservation would say that. Also, I work in food service and I have NEVER refused someone water or a bathroom- even if they were not customers. This is the first time in memory that I did not tip- its not a good feeling. But how are you gonna refuse someone tap water.
They still get 5 stars cuz the food’s fantastic and the location is stellar and the shop is beautiful. Hopefully they can turn this experience around for someone help. To the person who took my order: water is a basic human right fyi.

Lord have mercy there’s so much lobster I’ll dream I’ve become one lol absolutely delicious every bite… Get the hot butter and pour it all over your lobster … The coleslaw was like momma Martin’s back home. The fish market has fresh everything too. Huge delicious shrimp!

What a great little spot. The fried seafood was some of the best I’ve had and I’ve lived in Maine my entire life. There was a single young adult that seemed to be doing everything. I was really impressed by how hard she was working and kicking ass. So refreshing to see that some of the younger generation still have a strong work ethic. They’ve also done a great job with outside accommodations. Plenty of sheltered outside seating. Oh yeah forgot to mention their French fries. So good. Highly recommend you check this gem out.
