Came here for the first time, John helped us at the front, cooked our food AND served us! The food was amazing 10/10, the shrimp were huge and delicious, the hush puppies had corn inside with a little spice so so good. Will definitely be back!

I was hesitant to try this new place because there weren’t many reviews to gauge its quality. But I am definitely glad I did! It’s easy to say “bad service” from the outside looking in, but this is the definition of a mom and pop shop. There aren’t many workers, so be patient. You can tell that everything they make is fresh and homemade. The portion sizes are also incredibly generous!

I visited this place based on their reviews and honestly i was a bit surprised (negatively). I definitely dont feel its worthy of 4.8 stars. I am a REAL customer with a REAL review, not an employee or friend of ownership. Food 3 star, Service: 1 star, Atmosphere: 1 star.
The place was not really like a restaurant at all. Its actually an old motel diner. When you come in, you order before you sit down. We were literally the only customers in the place and I swear there were only two people working. The young man at the cash register and the cook. Not sure where all the “amazing service” comments are coming from as we had barely any service at all. The dude brought our food and dropped it off and returned to his cash register. Never came back to ask us how things were, refill our drinks or to check if we were happy. There were dead cockroaches on the floor under the bar up front by where you order. (wish i had seen that prior to ordering). The booths were HORRIBLE. They had zero sping left in the seat and when you sit down, you bottom out so far you are like a child at the grown up table. The food itself was decent at best. I had the fried oysters and shrimp combo with the cooked vegetables.
All things considered, i would recommend finding someplace else. Its Corpus Christie and there are seafood places on every block. This place seems more like a “truck stop” environment than it does a real restaurant.

Be prepared for a filling and great meal. I had the fish & shrimp it came with a side order of fries, hush puppies and a roll. All of it was great. I’ll be adding Fishermand sea food to my “Eat like a local “ list. Feels family owned and they are very kind.

The food is so delicious and made fresh to order. Fish is caught locally. The staff is super friendly. It’s family run, from the dad serving to the son cooking and the mom in the back. We had the fisherman’s platter, 4 piece fish basket and kids chicken strips. We ate everything on our plates, no crumbs left! Definitely eating here again when we come back into town.

Hands down the best seafood experience we have had in the Corpus Christi area. You will enjoy the family prepared food that comes to your table. This place was unsuspecting when we pulled in…what a pleasant surprise! We are not from Corpus and were looking for fish and chips after a round of golf. Everything was fresh and piping hot. We got coconut shrimp, flounder and a waffle. The vegetables were top tier and cooked perfectly. The staff are so kind and helpful, and we felt they truly cared that the experience was positive. Great job team! We’d go back.

I’m not gonna lie, it’s a hotel restaurant but I am so glad I gave them a chance. The food was delicious! The service was top tier. I meant to take a picture of my food but I ate it. I ate it all!!! My husband and I were in the mood for seafood and didn’t want to drive all the way to Paul’s Seafood. Then we thought about King Seafood but the lunch crowd was there. A quick Google search took us to this place. Don’t judge a book by its cover y’all. There is magic in that kitchen. Give them a try plus they serve breakfast all day if you don’t want seafood.
