We had an amazing time here. Mr. Jesse our server was amazing. He gave us several options and was very attentive. The food choices were amazing! I evened everything from our appetizers (sons first time trying frog legs was a positive experience), to our entrees, they were all amazing! I would urge you to come and try it for yourself!

WOW, this place was fantastic! The fish, hushpuppies and mac and cheese were very good. It was packed but we got a seat quickly. However, the bread pudding was overly sweet.

We ordered the Debris Fries for the appetizer and they were honestly the best “gravy fries” I’ve ever had. I’d go there just for those! My husband got the Reuben Sandwich and said it was delicious. My mom was very impressed with the grilled shrimp. The gumbo was okay, but we’re from Louisiana so might be a little biased there.

We loved the overall vibe of this place and had a pleasant experience. We’ll be back the next time we’re in the area!

What a great place. The food was incredible. I had not ate such delicious food in a very long time. I got a big bonus there. Got to listen to BB King while there and got to spend time with Melissa. If you get the privelidge to be at one of her tables, you will make a new friend. Don’t forget to get a great local beer. We will be back soon.

First time here, heard good things so we went for dinner! Great place, good atmosphere perhaps decor that you expect, except there’s a little New Orleans twist to it! It was a little dark to read the menu and what a wonderful menu it is! 5 star food, cooked New Orleans style, takes a little longer because it’s all cooked to order, takes your time chill and relax with a beer or cocktail plenty to choose from. We started with a crab cake between us, boy oh boy delicious. My wife ordered Shrimp and Grits, stunning! I went for the Creole Seafood Alfredo, amazing! Dessert we tucked into the Praline Pecan Bread Pudding, this blew us away!
The service? Our waitress was superb Melisa is so warm in her welcome, full of life, great smile and very knowledgeable about what’s on offer, absolute delight to have her look after you. All the staff work hard to ensure your dinner goes great. We arrived around 5, walked in and straight to our table, as the dinner progressed the restaurant slowly filling adding to a great vibe and to the taste of the evening, don’t hurry your dinner, have another drink soak up the place and enjoy!

We recently visited Fisherman Corner and had a good dining experience. For our appetizer, we ordered the frog legs, which came topped with a sweet and spicy sauce that added a flavorful kick—we really enjoyed it.

For our main course, we tried the Fisherman Cuban and the shrimp tacos, both served with fries. The fries were fairly standard but still tasty. The Fisherman Cuban was a generously sized sandwich with a bold mustard sauce. I enjoyed it, but be aware that the mustard flavor is strong, so it might not be for everyone.

The shrimp tacos came with small flour tortillas, which we liked. Aside from that, they were typical tacos with grilled shrimp—simple but satisfying.

Our server, Shawn, did an excellent job. He kept our drinks filled and was attentive to our needs throughout the meal.

Overall, Fisherman Corner provided a good dining experience with friendly service and flavorful dishes. Worth a visit.

It’s not a big place but when it’s packed during midweek, that tells you something.

The frog legs were delicious! And their specialty pork chop were excellent . The gumbo was nothing to write home about.

Penny our waitress was spot on and efficient and made for an enjoyable evening. Definitely will come back and try again.

Food is delicious. Super fresh and creative food choices. Our waitress spilled the water across the table upon arriving and she was confused on how to process a debit/credit card. She announced that our card was declined loudly letting us know she would be stuck with the bill if we didn’t pay. We stared blankly back at her frantic and loud comments. Thankfully the manager was able to process the card correctly and all was well. Even with the service blip I would say don’t miss this gem of a restaurant.

This restaurant was so amazing for dinner on Sunday, the seven of us decided to return three days later for a late lunch (3:30 PM), and it was consistently excellent. Some of my crew even said it was better than before. The staff work extremely hard, and the small kitchen giving each plate attention to the smallest of details really shows. We will be returning!!

2025 – We’ve been waiting a whole year for vacation and another chance to eat here. The food and friendly service did not disappoint! Sean was a great waiter. We went mid day to bypass the crowds. My son got chicken Alfredo again and loved it. I tried the Creole seafood Alfredo and am looking forward to leftovers from the huge portion I got. It’s so good! We rounded out the meal with bread pudding…it was amazing. Can’t wait to go back!

2024 – Wow! We lucked up in finding a hidden gem! The food was DELICIOUS, and our waitress was so friendly. In fact, all the employees smiled and spoke to us.

Creole flair, cooked to order. We had fried green tomatoes (excellent) and a bowl of gumbo for appetizers, blackened chicken Alfredo and shrimp and grits for our entrees, and salted caramel cheesecake for dessert. My son said the Alfredo was the best he’s ever had. The shrimp and grits was a deep fried ball of grits and Gouda sitting in a magical Creole concoction.

The food really was exceptional…someone knows how to COOK in that kitchen!

Lunch prices were very reasonable for the amount and caliber of the food.

Decor was a little dated, but who cares?! It seemed like most patrons were locals because the employees talked to them like they knew them.

We will definitely go back.
