Affordable and tasty food overall. We ordered the scallops, blue marlin sinigang, grilled pork, and calamares. Everything was flavorful and satisfying. The sinigang was especially comforting, and the grilled pork was really good.
They also have fresh mangoes, which were a great add-on and paired really well with the meal.
We came at night, so we didn’t get to see much of the view, but the service was excellent. Even though we arrived close to last call, the staff were still friendly and accommodating.
Update: We went the next day for lunch!

The food here was delicious! My partner and I had the chicken inasal. It was grilled perfectly and portion size was great. My girlfriend also ordered a mango shake which was also delicious. The location is amazing too! The views of the river are really nice to take in while dining.

Food preparation and flavor are what patrons will be coming back for. Grilled blue marlin and pork are cooked well and requires no seasoning/sauce for dipping. The restaurant furniture is old and dated but are properly maintained. Do not dine if you are too hungry, food service is at least 20 minutes. It is a go to place for meals in Sipalay especially for tourists so street parking is a challenge. Several souvenirs are available for sale.

If you’re looking for a perfect mix of good food and a beautiful, peaceful setting, Fish Tank is the place to be! We came here for a seafood lunch and were blown away not just by the flavors, but also by the refreshing ambiance. Surrounded by lush greenery and natural views, the restaurant feels like a relaxing escape from the city.

Amazing seafood! We had the calamares, a huge grilled tuna, pompano sinigang and baked scallops. Everything was delicious.
Despite the restaurant being busy, all our food arrived within 30 minutes. The riverside setting makes it a perfect spot for a relaxing meal.

We travelled for 4 hours just to visit this place, since the last time i went here the food was great and has many selections on the menu that’s why i brought my family back. I was shocked on the way it change few selections on the menu, service was poor as well service took so long to respond. We asked the server about their shrimp kebab if the shrimp has already been peeled and he said yes it has already, so we ordered it and added cajun fries.
But waiting time was 1hr for the food, plus too many flies flying around tables are not cleaned and sanitized as well.
When the food arrived we were so disappointed because the shrimp has skin plus overcooked!!!!! It was so hard to remove the skin. We only got tiny bits of it cause skin was sticking. Plus we were shocked with the “cajun fries” it arrived as plain fries.

About 4hrs ride away from Bacolod City, who would have thought of a requested food just once thought can come to life. Very well done to FTSR’s chef and crew. The secret menu came to life. The OG Kabsa. Make sure to request ahead of time for them to get it on the table the way you expect it to be. The mudcrabs were freshly picked from their crab pen, fresh seafood on the table (shrimps, fish, calamares, sinigang na isda using batwan-orig neto grabe), all were cooked perfectly. Delivery of food was quick, not stale at all. And of course, the ambiance you can’t say enough of. Swing, flowing river, school of fish passing through, and when lucky -on high tides, you’ll get your feet wet with fresh river water while eating.
A restaurant filled with so much love, challenges, and happy memories. On top of all the success, FTSR gives back to the community, with a low P20 entrance fee, you will be able to help the less fortunate kids with educational supplies.
Busog kana, nakakatulong ka pa. well worthy of the ride. Best seafood restaurant in Sipalay.

EDIT: Avoid this place. They gave us bad shrimps. Only 3 of 6 people ate among us ate them and all 3 of us had terrible food poisoning few hours later – vomit, poop water and fever!!!! Other 3 people who didn’t eat shrimps were okay!!!!

We arrived at around 1pm and thankfully, everyone’s almost done eating so we got to take lots of photos while waiting for our food. I expected it to be served after an hour (accdg to some reviews here) but I’m glad our order arrived after 25 minutes. We tried their Seafood feast for 1099. The soup was delicious and their pork dinakdakan was surprisingly good as well. I wanted to try their shakes since it was too humid but their mango and avocado shake were the only ones available that time. Their furnitures and restroom aren’t that fancy but the ambiance and food make this seafood restaurant worth a visit whenever you go to Sipalay.
