A casual dining experience for the whole family overlooking the bay on 21st Street. Fish Tales, located in Bahia Marina, used to be just a locals hang out. Throughout the years the word has spread about this treasure on the bay. Come join the fun day or night. We love Kids at Tales! Huge Pirate Playground and every kid’s meal comes with a free FT Frisbee! Dogs are welcome on our Boardwalk area at Tales! Complimentary water in dog bowls can be found and please note, all dogs must be leashed and well behaved. We do not take reservations – it’s first come, first served. Our Happy Hour is Monday-Friday from 2pm-6pm. Bloody Mary Bar on Sunday from 11am-3pm. Special Events can be found on our webpage.

A beautiful outdoor seating area with a gorgeous view of the sunset. You can watch boats, large and small, dock nearby as you grab apps, a drink or a full meal. The food isn’t life changing, but it is good and served quick. Add in the ambiance and this is a nice place to visit, especially with family – there is a playground on site.

First I will say that this is one of our favorite places and we go every year. So I guess I’m a little prejudiced that we love this place. The food is excellent. Don’t worry about that four star rating on the food. It’s just that we could have also a whole bunch of high end restaurants. In terms of atmosphere and service you’re not going to have better. It is definitely a family-oriented restaurant. However, while you wait there’s definitely the ability to pick up a drink and hang out on the docks waiting for your day. This is a very high recommended restaurant

Hard pass on this restaurant for food. The drinks we had were good and it’s a fun vibe in OCMD overall so that’s the 3 stars.
I ordered the Ahi Poke salad and it was 90% wonton crisps and seaweed salad. I kid you not I had to order a side of cabbage to even be able to eat it. I ended up ordering a basket of shrimp because I still needed food. Seriously just get some fries or something if you’re going to eat here.

Fish Tales!!! Oh why aren’t you closer? Hubs and I have a tradition that goes back YEARS! First stop is always Fish Tales for a dirty Banana. If they aren’t open. We wait!! I love sitting on the deck looking at the water and the boats. I always take pics. Mostly of my drinks and my toes. And us! We go every year . Try and do two trips. We’ve done 3 a few times. Added some pics!

Great family friendly place. Decided to try this place after seeing it on IG and it did not disappoint. They appeared to be busy, but we were seated right away. We placed our order and the kids went to play in the play area and our food came out a short time later.
All the food was delicious. Our server was attentive and friendly. We finished dinner and went back to the play area for the kids.
Highly recommend for families with smaller kids. This will be a new regular place for us!

Visited for father’s day lunch and food was delicious. They were busy , however we were seated and served right away. Can you tell how much my grandson loved his treat , Graham cracker fish shaped cookies . Definitely recommend if your in the area.

Fish Tales is 12/10! Atmosphere, food & service. The fried shrimp was top tier! The drinks are delicious too. We had a pina colada & an orange dreamsicle. The views are great, lots of area to wait and have a drink. The sunset views are amazing too!

This is a very packed and busy restaurant that’s great for family night out at the beach. Our wait was about 40 mins at peak time (not bad). Our server was Ripley and she was awesome! I only gave 4 stars though because my seafood burrito had no (discernible) enchilada sauce on it and the rice was not seasoned, it was plain white rice. Also, I had to cut it with plastic utensils which was a little annoying.
**Not sure what their snarky response means but I assure you, there was no enchilada sauce. I mean, I’ve tasted enchilada sauce and I know what it looks like too.

Really popular and with good reason! Did we have to wait a while before getting seated? Yes. But, the kids played at their pirate ship play ground and we sipped on great margs! The food was good and it arrived very quickly . The service was also top notch. Highly recommend.

This place is fantastic! It’s right on the dock, offers sunset tiki cruises, has a playground for the kids that has a boat, multiple slides, and treehouse style walkways.
I’m vegan, so I’ll review based on what’s offered, they make a vegan veggie wrap and offer a beyond burger and vegan crab cake! I usually get the vegan crab cake sandwich that comes with two large patties, lettuce and tomato. My son gets the beyond burger and my wife usually gets the veggie wrap. The wrap is spicy, but you can do it without the jalapeños and sauce. My extended family has omnivores and everyone has had great things to say about their food.
The atmosphere is awesome with being able to sit outside and watch the sunset or sit under the lights. Just be prepared to wait a while if you arrive for dinner. They don’t take reservations, but they usually overestimate the wait. Well worth it, enjoy!
