Food was amazing!
I usually judge a restaurant pretty hard. But the flavors of everything today was spot on!
We started with the spicy edamame, and it had a nice smokey spice on it. We got the Black garlic ramen and it was flavorful and rich. The Lion King roll was so delicious. The salmon roe popped perfectly in your mouth as you chewed your bite.
Soft shelled crab was perfectly cooked. The sauces on the tempura roll and the spicy tuna were delicious!
Staff is super nice and appreciative and attentive!

My brother and I stumbled upon this restaurant while driving through Highway 12. We were greeted by friendly waitresses who promptly gave us glasses of water. We decided to try the Tonkotsu Ramen, the Black Garlic Ramen, and the Sacramento Roll, which our waitress highly recommended. The food was absolutely delicious, and it has become our go-to spot for ramen!

This was a nice little surprise. The food quality was good and the prices were appropriate. I was a little sad though cause I really wanted the Ramen but it does have MSG so I had to pass. The miso soup also had MSG. It would have been nice to have options for the food without as I am highly allergic. Will just stick to the sushi for now.

Sushi cost a little bit more then other sushi places that I normally go to, but the slices of fish were thicker and the rolls were bigger. I love that the ginger and wasabi wasn’t kept at the table and was served fresh with your order instead.

The service was amazing and very helpful staff. Food was allright. Hopefully it will grow into better standards over time since this was only a pop up.
Ordered Maguro Nigiri (my standard order) It had an off putting aftertaste and texture to the maguro. Ive had better quality nigiri from Japanese grocery stores and the AYCE Sushi on North Texas.
Ordered a tonkatsu ramen. I have an affinity for ramen and will drive hours to find a delicious bowl.The broth was a bit underwhelming bland for my taste.
We didn’t bother taking a photo of the Lion Ling roll. The rice was dryly crisped on the outside and then overly soaked in sauce, so it fell apart at the bottom.
Will update review if we go back after they are open for a couple months to see if quality improves

Don’t even bother with this spot. Went here for lunch a few days ago. There was only one other person eating there while I was there. Place was empty. I ordered the nigiri plate. I waited 27 minutes for 8 pieces of nigiri. Later that day, I had food poisoning. NEVER EVER GOING BACK TO THIS PLACE.

If you are craving fresh and delicious Japanese cuisine with an innovative twist, get yourself over to Fish on Fire as soon as possible! We visited the restaurant after finding out it’s the latest venture from the same owner as Totto Ramen and Sushi in Fairfield. Totto is our favorite Japanese restaurant, so if you’re also a fan of Totto, you will LOVE Fish on Fire. The menu has a wide variety of classic sushi favorites, sashimi, creative small plates, and appetizers. They also have a variety of ramen dishes than can be customized with various toppings, if you’re in the mood for something warm and soothing. The presentation is always artistic and creative. The food is almost too beautiful to eat, but then you eat it and it tastes even better than it looks – if that’s even possible. We enjoyed the Toro, and Seared Sake Belly nigiri, the Fish on Fire Roll was incredible too with just the right amount of heat. The Ika Geso was paired with a spicy aioli that complimented the fried texture. All of the fish was super-fresh and the sashimi practically melts in your mouth! They also have these cool screens at every table, so you can order as you go which is the best way to eat sushi, in my opinion – take your time and then decide what to order next. Of course, the servers are also very friendly, attentive, and ready to take your order and answer your questions, if that’s more your style. There were so many other items on the menu we can’t wait to try on future visits. Fish in Fire has definitely elevated the food scene in Suisun City.

Actually, a nice place for sushi and ramen.
The menu has many sushi combinations platters, Kitchen Specials and numerous sushimi platters . It’s not a large facility but cozy is not always a bad thing. There is an online menu for your convenience and accommodates food to go.
The only draw back is limited parking in the lot;
Timing is everything ok.
