After moving to Dade City almost 20 years ago, we continued to drive to our favorite NY style Chinese spot in Tampa. Wanting to find something closer, we gave this place a try, hoping it would have that same NY style flavor we enjoy, and it does.

I love this place! The staff is super friendly, prices are very fair, food is fresh and delicious, and they’re always fast. I love the Hunan Beef (pictured), beef and broccoli, crab rangoons, and their Lo Mein. The restaraunt is very clean, and you can see into the kitchen, which is very clean as well. 10/10 best Chinese in Dade City.

I love China One. I don’t know how the young lady does it but she remembers your order, even when it is placed via phone. She knows you when you walk in and asks about family members. The food is excellent. Always fresh, always hot and your order is always correct.

It’s a Dade City thing. The food is excellent the owner is extraordinary she remembers all her customers by their names or by their face. It’s hard for me to eat Chinese food because of the MSG she prepares my food without MSG she goes above and beyond to make sure you’re happy and I guarantee your belly will be happy too. Awful customer service. I called to put in my order and then I asked her about how long does it take so I would know when to leave my house. And she screamed no no no no no you just get here and wait when you get here because if I tell you a time you’re going to be mad if it’s not ready. she was definitely assuming something about me based on her dealings with other people in the past. I was excited because it seemed like they had great food, but no thank you I will head over to China King from now on and they definitely have great food.

Some of the best Chinese takeout in the Dade City/Zephyrhills area. (General TSO’s wonton special is ) It’s only takeout no dine-in so plan accordingly. Definitely going back next time we want Chinese food.

If I could give a 0 review I would! First time there and last time. The lady behind the counter was very rude after her arguing and yelling with the cook we not only waiting almost an hour for our food after watching everyone coming in and out after us, even though we called ahead 30 mins to order our food. The general Tso Chicken was dry and was like clumped together, order Shrimp Lo Mein with maybe 5 baby shrimp the noodles was soft and all chopped up then to top it off the Egg Rolls we thought was spring rolls hardly any filling and very greasy. Rest of food was dry and hard. I asked for napkins and plastic silverware just to be shown a small stack of napkins and told we have none to give away and no plastic silverware after spending $60 and wait time I would think we could get a napkin at least. Do not waste your time definitely not worth it.
