Last night my husband and I wanted to listen to music have a couple drinks and a bite to eat. We ended up going to fish Tingz for lack of black owned Caribbean spots that can have a nice vibe. This is my 2nd time since it open years ago and our first together. We ordered just three things the oxtail tacos, French fries And bammy. We waited 45 mins to get the tacos after half hour the server asked if we still wanted food cause The were backed up I said yes, another half hour hours by and the server says oh there took your dishes off the menu so I asked for the manager she says they are in the kitchen cooking. It’s really not about the food it’s the pure dismissal of our order and thought it was ok. She then goes back in the kitchen and says the manager said they would make it on the house. I politely said no thank you cause you all had no intention on making it. I was so disappointed will never go back because they obviously don’t care the sad part is so many people came after us received their food without a problem. But I guess it was just the two of us so they could not be bothered. What a way to treat your customers we all should matter. Please don’t answer this review as if you care manager. The owner should fire you that is not how you treat people. the music however was good and the band was as well…..

We hosted a birthday brunch at Fish N Tingz Bar & Grill, and everything was amazing from start to finish!
As the owner of Faith Event Planning, I was so impressed with the level of hospitality and flexibility. Phillip, the owner, was incredibly helpful, personable, and accommodating. He gave us the freedom to set up a beautiful balloon backdrop and custom decor, which really brought our vision to life and made the space feel personal and festive.
The wait staff was professional and attentive, the food was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were excellent—that rum punch was on point!
The DJ kept the vibe just right and helped create an amazing atmosphere for our guests.
If you’re looking for a great space to host your next celebration, I highly recommend Fish N Tingz. We’ll definitely be back!

Our experience was wonderful. We booked a birthday dinner with about 40 people on a Friday night. The music was on point. The wait staff was plentiful, extremely helpful and timely. The prices were reasonable and the quality of the food was a straight 10 out of 10. Drinks were strong and on point too. The establishment was very welcoming and clean. We most definitely will be planning more in events at Fish and Tingz in the nearby future.

If you’re craving authentic island flavors without hopping on a plane, Fish and Tingz Jamaican Restaurant in Manchester, CT is the place to be! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the warm, homey hospitality of the owner Miss Pat and our host, the ever-smiling Bree. They make you feel less like a customer and more like family.
The food? Absolutely delicious—and the prices are more than reasonable. Every bite is seasoned to perfection, full of bold Jamaican flavors that instantly transport you to the islands. Pair that with the tropical décor—tiny bar umbrellas, fresh flowers, and island touches all around—and it feels like you’ve snuck away on a mini-vacation.
What I loved most is that you leave not only full and satisfied but also feeling like every single dollar was well spent. It’s a true hidden gem, right here in Manchester.
✨ Treat yourself and experience it—you’ll be glad you did!

Never again! The food is not authentic Jamaican food at all. Every time I order, I end up getting something other than what I ordered! Brown stew fish With no gravy or toppings on it! Dry rice every time.. This is definitely American food

I went yesterday for brunch and was immediately disappointed..they don’t have a host at the host stand so me and my girlfriend was just standing there looking dumb for about 10 minutes before one of the females at the bar asked where we wanted to be seated. We sat at the bar ordered drinks and they allegedly didn’t have the simple syrup for the lemon drop martini…but I was only told that after I was already waiting for 10 minutes meanwhile my gf had her drink. Upon ordering food I told the server my order she repeated it back to me and still got my order wrong..not understanding how but okay again that put me and my gf in a awkward place where her food is sitting in front of her basically cold and I’m waiting for mine. The bartender/ server really didn’t have a care in the world real nonchalant about it..then when the pretty slim bartender from mass asked my issue she tried her best to accommodate me but my mind was already made up about the place second time going same experience… either go back to the drawing board or find another profession cause obviously food and beverage isn’t a strong suit for them but the club scene is…and don’t get me started on the gratuity especially if it’s only two people dining The servers are basically getting tips to do nothing They are horrible do better. Also pay attention the prices of food on the menu versus the receipt at cash out the akee and saltfish is $20 but we was gonna get charged $25 had we not paid attention

We came on a Saturday and was able to have a good conversation with one of the owners and he was great to talk to, our bartender/waitress so very nice any attentive. I got the the jerk chicken plate which had a great smoky flavor with some spice. Jamaican mule drink was also great, definitely recommend. My husband got the fried chicken plate and loved it . Chicken was hot juicy and crispy

This was a random stop. But the food that I had was good. So i will be back to try something different. I was there on a Sunday. And it looked like a brunch vibe with dj playing some good tunes. I’m not from the area but I would recommend it.
