Food was ok at best. Pulled pork was watery; not sure how to make that happen. Blackened shrimp was overcooked and tough but the seasoning was good. Shrimp was also small. Grits were great. Hush puppies were very dry. Good bar selection. Service was good.

We enjoyed an evening out on the patio. The server and staff provided great service and gave great recommendations. We had drinks and dinner. The bar tenders made an excellent lemon drop. We had the fried shrimp and ribs. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. We will definitely visit fish and pig again

First visit here. There were 6 of us and everyone was happy with their meal. I was the only BBQ eater. The pork was really good. Everyone else had seafood. There were good reports all around. I’d told the bar also did a good job

A cultural icon, the Fish N’ Pig delivers on all cylinders. Boat parking lakeside and cars on the other, outdoor Tiki bar and band venue, inviting bar, and food that matches the vibes.

The food is great, highly recommend it. I’ve probably eaten here 50 times and 49 times the food was great. However, don’t go there expecting to dine with a view of the lake. I go here early (4:30’ish) when they open to insure I get a table with a view of the lake. But the last 3 times I went i got 10 excuses as to why I couldn’t sit at one of those vacant tables by the windows facing the lake. This afternoon there were 3 vacant tables by the windows, and only one party waiting ahead of us. But no, no, no…NO WINDOW TABLE FOR ME. And they don’t take reservations. So don’t bother trying that either.

Always a great experience. I recommend the Shrimp and Corn Chowder (10 out of 10). The staff are some of the best Macon, GA has to offer. Combine great food, great staff, and a great atmosphere and you’re bound have some fun. It didn’t hurt that them Dogs won!

Joined up with some family to eat and listen to the band. Was an enjoyable night.

Food was really good.

Service was great.

Lake view is awesome. Miss being out by a lake just relaxing like this.

The food was mediocre. Not a lot of seasoning used. It was all edible but I expected more for the price. Our server was very friendly, the hostesses were on their phones when we arrived and didn’t greet us with more than a “how many?”. We spent $150 her for 2 people and a toddler. I expected a little more.

I’m not sure what happened to this restaurant, but the fall from grace is honestly shocking.

The food was decent at best. The catfish was undercooked, which is unacceptable — especially at a seafood restaurant. Fish should never be served undercooked. The okra, on the other hand, was burnt. The breading on the shrimp had a strange texture and flavor as well. Definitely not what I expected.

The service didn’t help either. Our server seemed completely overwhelmed or maybe just having a bad night — either way, he couldn’t get himself together, and it showed.

What really made no sense was the wait. The parking lot was full, but the restaurant itself was nearly empty… yet we were told there would be a 15-minute wait. That just didn’t add up.

At this point, I’d stick with their sister company, Jim Shaw’s — now I see why they always have such a long wait. Fish & Pig, you need a kitchen manager.

Very disappointing experience overall. Not sure I’ll be back.

It’s #1 on atmosphere with live music on the lake . I had the blackened Scallop dinner this time for $30. Realistically if you drink anything , you can bank on spending at least $50 per adult. The food serving size isn’t as much as you would expect
