This review is about the newly built dining/bar area. When I went, I didn’t have to wait at all to get a table and be served. The appetizer I got (chicken tacos with escovitch sauce) was delicious. My entree (shrimp rasta pasta) was flavorful and well cooked with great presentation. The dessert (fried oreos) was also good. The food is made fresh.

This is my third time ordering jerk chicken from here and every time I get it, it’s always red inside. The flavor is very good but inside the chicken is uncooked, I always have to throw it away. I tried to give this restaurant grace because the other dishes are really good , no issues but the jerk chicken needs to be cooked more. I won’t be ordering their jerk chicken nomore. Please tell the chef to cook the chicken a little longer !!!

I have ordered food from here multiple times the first time this happened I ignored it, foods not gonna taste the same every time you eat it. However when I opened the oxtail it was cold, mostly fat and smelled old as if it was left out for a while and something was telling me not to eat it… I woke up in the middle of the night and had to throw up.

This is my honest review! I ordered on Uber eats stew chicken, chicken rasta pasta & fried whiting fish. I ordered a small size for both dishes & 2 pieces of whiting fish. Taste: the stew chicken was great & I loved the chicken Rasta pasta. The Rasta pasta had a sweet/spicy taste which I enjoyed. The stew chicken portion was very generous and filling especially for a small size. The whiting fish was a bit bland so I had to knock a star off, but it definitely had potential. Price: food was very affordable even ordering through Uber eats (I did have a promo code, but I feel even without one the food wouldn’t be too costly). Overall, I would definitely eat here again and it may become my go to spot for Jamaican food. I added pictures of my order below.

My go to spot for West Indies cuisine when I’m in the area. The food quality is top notch. The portion size is great. The service is pretty fast in comparison to most of the WI takeout restaurants I’ve gone to.. and I’ve been to a lot. The food at Fish Fry Friday is AMAZING! I just try it last week for the first time because went to the store thinking it was still Golen Krust, but to my surprise Golden Krust has been gone since 2021! I gave Fish Fry Friday a try for the first time and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEIR FOOD! It will now be one of my favourite Jamaican spot! Thank you for your good back a yard home cooked meal I appreciate you guys!
