First time ordering from here and was extremely satisfied. I read many reviews, several indicated dissatisfaction, but our experience was great. We ordered many of the favorites, all were good. Shrimp tempura roll, rainbow roll, bbq eel, 007 roll, the pork belly steam buns… Very happy we gave this a go.

Sushi was ok, but after getting takeout home discovered my order of salmon and mango roll was salmon and jalapeno. Yellowtail roll had a generous portion but the fish was warm which always squicks me. The pork belly buns were good. The sweet potato roll had overcooked breading on it. Prefer tempura in that style and lightly cooked, not overdone. Worth another try – I might have just gotten unlucky or it’s startup issues. The order was prepared in a reasonable amount of time.

This is a below standard sushi. Don’t trust any other reviews here. We bought our sushi there today .. the rice was loose, fell out in pieces when we tried to hold it up to eat. Look at the photo! Seriously, that kind of sushi quality won’t be able to continue in business if in Toronto as the standard there is higher.

Irondequoit is SO LUCKY!! Fish Face is AMAZING! We are huge sushi fans and would travel to Pittsford to get the best. NO NEED anymore, FishFace is at I-Square!!! You will love all of the food, especially the sushi rolls. The flavors, mouth size, temperature and portions are all so perfect and satisfying!

I’ve dined in and ordered takeout from this establishment multiple times since they opened. This sushi spot is a great addition to Irondequoit and I-square! When I ate in it did take a while for my order to be ready, but we got a beer at the wine bar in isquare so all worked out. I don’t think it took an unusually long time. Generally we order online and do take out. With ordering online my order is always ready within the expected time frame and it texts me to notify me when it’s ready. I agree with the other reviewers that the rolls are surprisingly large, but it doesn’t deter me from eating them haha. We also have really enjoyed the ramen. Thank you for bringing more delicious food to Irondequoit!

What a welcome addition to i-Square. I’ve eaten here twice and both times the food was fresh and tasty. My only comment is that the diameter of the rolls is too large–you either try to eat eack piece in one bite and feel like you’re going to choke, or you bite it and it falls apart. I’d love to see them rolled smaller so that each piece is bite-sized. But the taste is spot-on.
