Awesome place. Great service and the food is top notch. The crawfish was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The corn is so fresh. We also had the calamari appetizer and being from Cali I’m very qualified to say it is in my top three for flavor and tenderness. Ask for Kaylyn to serve you she is GREAT!

Party of five adults dined here 2/28/2026 6pm. We has reservation and we’re promptly seated. Staff is wonderful. Greeter were very polite & friendly. Our server was exceptional and made our dining experience very enjoyable. She was attentive, polite, & kind. She was excellent.
We all started with multiple dozens of northeast coast oysters on half shell which were very fresh & delightfully. All in group loved their entree choices. I really liked “cod fish & chips”. We all plan on returning very soon.

Food here is decent here. We ordered the gumbo, red beans and rice, house salad, calamari, hamburger for the kiddos, fish city sandwich. Fish was cooked to perfection but flavor was lacking in the fish city sandwich. The burgers were a bit dry. Gumbo was a little salty but the red beans and rice was perfect. Perfect portion size and the prices were decent as well. Service was good. It’s a great place for small and large groups. Has a bar and grill feel and kind of marine vibes -suppose to feel like you’re in a pirate ship type theme. I wouldn’t knock it till you try it. May be your vibe. Till then, let’s eat!!!

I ate here back in September and I gave it a 1 star only because of the horrible tasting oysters. They tasted like they came from dirty sewer water from a stinky bay. Not fresh at all. I eat oysters a lot from other restaurants and this was the worst taste and portion size at the highest price. However, my husband enjoyed his fish sandwich and we shared fried pickles that were delicious. I also ordered gumbo which was ok. The atmosphere was clean, bright, and welcoming. The service was good too. I will not return because of the bad oysters. I will stick to the fish n tails oyster bar in McKinney for that.

I was impressed with this place. First, I couldn’t believe how reasonable the seafood was. Second, the food was flavorful. The dessert (Blackberry Cobbler) was tasty, and our server was on top of it. I have no complaints.

This was a really good place to eat! Even though we went in through the wrong door (it seems to be the norm), we were greeted and seated. It is small but the service was outstanding and the food delicious! Jeremy, our server, always checked on us and made sure our glasses were filled. We both ordered fish and chips which was so delicious! The fish was not overly greasy and the fries were perfect. Not too crunchy and not undercooked either. My husband got the gumbo which he said was so good that it didn’t need crackers. They have a full bar and gluten free options. They also have outside seating. We will definitely be back to try some of the other menu options. Thank you, Fish City Grill!

This was our first time eating here. The food and atmosphere were very good. Service was decent. We did have to remind our waitress for refills and condiments but otherwise was good. There was a bit of a wait, but it stays busy and it was worth it. I ordered the fried catfish and the batter was so good, it had a sweet taste to it similar to a churro and just something you wouldn’t expect but was delicious. My fiancée ordered the crawfish and ordered about 5lbs because it was that good. We will for sure be coming back to eat here. 🙂

Had a nice outdoor 4th of July lunch with the family and dog. Each of us ate something different from the menu, and all of it was delicious. I had the shrimp po boy sandwich. The blackened shrimp was well seasoned but not over poweringly hot. Bread had a good crunch but wasn’t hard. The cole slaw was the weak spot, soupy and just blah. I did find a bit of plastic wrap in the sandwich that I let our server know about.
Service was very accommodating to our request to sit outdoors. Since we had the dog, there wasn’t much of an option. Nonetheless, they kept our glasses full and checked on us regularly.
I’m ambivalent that this will be a place that I revisit. We’ll see.

From the moment I got in…they were all amazing! The wait staff was super friendly, knowledgeable, happy, quick… The food was really good – I had the bisque and the shrimp and grits. The dish was a tad spicy for me but was delicious! I like the atmosphere, it was loud but happy loud! I would go there again and again every time I stay in the area! Not fancy but very vibrant! They have me for life! Highly recommend!
