This is a truly high-class place to try fish and chips — just as the ratings suggest — but there’s so much more to it. The service was exceptional, and the food felt like a work of art, making our lunch unforgettable. Thank you, Jay and Smelena, for taking such great care of us — the level of service honestly exceeded what we’ve experienced in some five-star hotels.

They offer a wide variety of fish, sides, and snacks, all prepared perfectly. Highly recommended!

Good little hidden gem, located right on the edge of the market.
This was a great venue and very warm inside given the cold day outside.
We went in and was seated pretty much straight away, food was delicious and served in good time.
The menu is obviously as it say on the tin and serves fish, so is a limited menu for kids.
But restaurant is good for all ages

If you want to dive right into English culinary culture, then order a fish and chips here. Even if the price may be a little be more expensive than in other places, the quality of the fish, the perfect crunch of the frying, the crispy and melting chips and the delicious mashed peas make you forget and understand this small higher price. Moreover, the setting is magnificent with a very beautiful exterior view, a very pretty restaurant and a attentive and kind staff.

This is a nice restaurant located just behind the grab-and-go fish & chips stall in Borough Market. We tried the Fish & Chips, Fish Pie, and Fish Cake, and finished with an Earl Grey tea.

Everything was delicious, and the sauces served with the fish & chips were especially good. The waiter was very attentive, and the service was excellent.

They accept both cash and card payments.
A cozy place where you can enjoy a nice time with friends. Highly recommended.

Exceptional food and service. We were served by Shona who was alert and incredibly diligent in filling glasses when needed enquiring as to our needs and completely unassuming.
starters a dozen oysters and whitebait with two bottles of Stellenbosch white wine, two double calvados dessert drinks and two coffee liquors. The halibut, baked squid and baked wild fish and sides were of the highest quality, cooked well and tasted fantastic. Price was good if you factor in the oysters and drinks. Highly recommended

Was looking forward to it but it was slightly disappointing. Great crunch, chips and fish tasted really fresh (got the Cod for 15 pounds-ish?), however too much raw flour below the batter for my liking, but I do like that the seasoning is customisable and you could add the amt of salt or vinegar to your liking. Not a bad experience but not mind blowing

A solid classic if you want fish and chips while you’re in Borough Market. We ordered the hake, and the fish was really juicy and nicely cooked. The only downside was that the portion of chips wasn’t very generous and they weren’t seasoned with salt or vinegar. The homemade tartar sauce, though, was delicious.

This restaurant has become one of my absolute favourites for seafood! The staff are incredibly welcoming and make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. The food consistently hits the mark—always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone looking for a great dining experience.

First time I ever tried fish and chips, and it’s actually not bad. The fish was moist and the batter was crunchy with a light beer flavor. Chips were gorgeous and fluffy. The portion was huge, way bigger than I imagined so it’s best to share for 2. The place got crowded quickly and they have limited outdoor seats, so arriving early helps.

It is in a nice spot, chips for me very average, didn’t taste as fresh as I wanted. The battered fish was nice, but my wife found a few bones in it.
