We greet the sunrise by slicing and juicing fresh fruits and vegetables, whipping French toast batter from scratch and brewing pots of our single-origin Project Sunrise coffee. Patrick was an excellent server. Very kind and warm and funny. I enjoyed every minute of my brunch. I’m glad this place uses actual Alaskan salmon for their Eggs Benedict (chef’s kiss!) … unfortunately other places that serve European farm raised salmon with neurotoxin additives to get an orangey color is a big NO for me.

Tried the new Winter menu 2025. Went with the Carne Asada Breakfast tacos. PRO TIP: I subbed the cold pickled onions for steaming hot grilled white onions. . 1000 percent recommend.
I added the banana crunch pancake on the side because it’s the BEST pancake they have hands down.
This is my favorite brunch spot hands down.
However, wish they would do a pecan pie crunch pancake one of these holidays.
Also, Looking forward to the day that they add lattes and expresso coffees to their menu.

It was a very busy Sunday brunch, but the service was excellent—staff were quick, attentive, and took great care of us. The toast and jam were top quality. I ordered the veggie burger, which was a bit dry and lacking in flavor and condiments; we did get condiments upon request, but the burger wasn’t as hot as I’d like, and the top bun could have been toasted better. We also tried the vegetable omelette, (not pictured) due to the first order came in was wrong. It included kale—chopping the kale would have made it easier to eat, as the barely cooked leaves were a bit tough and got stuck while chewing. That said, the other three dishes were delicious, especially the flavorful potatoes. Overall, it was a good dining experience, and I’ll definitely come back to try something else on the menu.

We had a great experience at First Watch in Fulshear, Texas! The food was delicious and came out quickly. Our waitress, Maria, was very attentive and kind throughout our visit.
She even gave my son a sample of one of their energy health drinks, and he loved it so much that he ordered one for himself. That was very thoughtful of her.
My kids loved the food, we enjoyed the atmosphere, and Maria did a wonderful job taking care of us. We will definitely be back!

Went to First Watch for breakfast and had the best time! Carla our server recommended I get the apple sausage and it was so good. Also loved the dragonfruit seasonal drink. It was amazing! If you go ask for Carla she will take great care of you!

Inconsistent Food, Great Service — Just Okay Overall
I’ve stopped by this spot a few times now, and there always seems to be something slightly off—either the service or the food. On this particular visit, the service was excellent, which is really the only reason this review gets three stars. Our server was kind, attentive, and genuinely apologetic when things didn’t go right.
Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, and the eggs came out over hard—not even close to poached. We had to send the dish back, and both plates of the seasoned potatoes were undercooked and hard, which made for a less-than-enjoyable brunch experience.
One surprisingly odd issue: they don’t offer pure cane sugar. The only sweeteners available for coffee were raw crystallized sugar (which doesn’t dissolve well) or artificial sweeteners like Sweet’n Low. For a brunch-focused restaurant that serves coffee, it’s a strange omission and kind of deters you from ordering a cup unless you drink it black.
They did remake the order fairly quickly, and again, the service was great. The server handled the situation well, and we appreciated her effort—but unfortunately, the kitchen missed the mark on some basics. When you order a classic Benedict, the poached egg is the main event—it’s not something that should be overlooked.
Final thoughts: If you’re nearby, maybe try it for lunch, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here again. There’s nothing particularly rave-worthy about the experience, but the staff is doing their best.

Awesome neighborhood spot for breakfast or brunch! The food is always fresh and consistently delicious, every dish we’ve tried so far has been fantastic. I especially love their house coffee served in a pot, it just makes the whole experience feel cozy and relaxed!

Isabella is an amazing waiter at First Watch! She has the best personality, provides great customer service, and is always smiling. She truly makes you feel welcome and taken care of. I would definitely come back and ask for her service again. The food is excellent, and the atmosphere is very nice as well. A wonderful overall experience!
