The music that’s played, is always a nice touch, for me personally. The food was better than I even thought it would be. I ordered from the seasonal menu and got the carne asada breakfast tacos and million dollar potatoes. SO GOOD!
The service is always great, but this morning Olivia was a ray of sunshine. Super helpful when suggesting to substitute the potatoes for the black beans and was attentive even though I never needed anything extra.

I went in for breakfast with my birthday reward. Malia was our waitress and beyond pleasant. She definitely made it a great experience she knew the menu well I was interested in the new drinks on the menu and she shared her experience also it was one that truly interested me she did a great job in the up-sale she gave a small sample and said you will like this and did. Thanks for going the extra mile with smile and laughter included.

This location is a little smaller than the one in North KC but it is much quieter which is so nice! I tried the Carmel crunch drink and the lemon ricotta pancakes today which were not my favorite but were clearly made well.

Had a very stale and super dry muffin today. This cinnamon muffin was probably really good the day it came out of the oven, which definitely was not today. Should not be serving them after a day or several days old. Spoon brought with meal had lots of leftover pieces of food from the dishwasher. Wasn’t hard to see this spoon was very dirty and should not have been put on the plate.

Came on a weekday morning, so it wasn’t busy. Ordered and received food in a timely manner. No issues.
First Watch is nice because they have turkey options. One of the few places I can have biscuits and gravy with sausage (turkey).

The waffles and French toast were cold and when the server brought another waffle it was softer but it was cold as well. The server appeared to be poorly trained as she kept trying to rush us while ordering. The server was also unfamiliar with the ingredients in the syrup options and rather than just say that she was unsure of the ingredients of the sugar free syrup the server kept reading the syrup choices to us even after being reminded that we could read the menu and we just entered to know what was in the sugar free syrup.Overall it was a very disappointing experience which is sad because we was excited to try the restaurant because it has healthier options in a fast food, unhealthy world.

I ordered the million dollar bacon and for dang near $8 I thought it would taste and look better than what it actually was. It was half cooked and barely any of the honey sauce or whatever sweet sauce they use on it. Never again. Looks like it was just thrown together, a hot mess. I ordered before 7:20 am so you would think that it would be tasty, hot and fresh.
