This time, the bread was unusually hard. I assumed it had simply been over-toasted and continued eating. As I finished my last bite, I noticed what appeared to be mold seeping through the bread, including in the middle, not just on the surface. We politely brought it to our server’s attention. He returned and explained that it was residue from the grill, but the discoloration was inside the bread as well, which would not be consistent with grill marks.
As someone who bakes bread at home, I am familiar with what mold looks like. What was most disappointing was that there was no offer to remake the meal, remove it from the bill, or otherwise address the situation.
I have loved coming here, but this experience has made me hesitant to return, especially with my children. I truly hope this was an isolated oversight and that food safety procedures are reviewed.

The sausage wasn’t done, the eggs were over cooked, the potatoes were hard. Can’t recommend them
