We greet the sunrise by slicing and juicing fresh fruits and vegetables, whipping French toast batter from scratch and brewing pots of our single-origin Project Sunrise coffee. Freshness is never comprised, which is why we welcome each season into our menu with ingredients and flavors inspired by the position of the sun. SPECTACULAR! We stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon right at 2 PM, 30 minutes before closing. We were greeted by a friendly hostess as soon as we walked in, and seated immediately. The menu has PLENTY of choices for everyone, (don’t miss out on the Million Dollar Bacon!) and our food was served fast, hot, and fresh! Everything was delicious, and our server, Alexis, took GREAT care of us! (I never saw the bottom of my glass and she anticipated our needs before we even asked.) Long story short, this is THE brunch spot in Nicholasville!

We have visited numerous First Watch restaurants, but it was our first time here. We went early on Mother’s Day and had no problem getting seated. Service was impeccable. We had a table that allowed me to see the kitchen staff hard it. As the crowd began arriving, I saw the cool staff pick up the pace and they worked like a well-oiled machine. All of our food was great and our server was Uber-attentive. Best First Watch experience to date!

We were seated immediately at First Watch, which was great. However, after sitting for about five minutes with no greeting, no drink order, and no acknowledgment at all, we decided to walk out.
We noticed other tables around us waiting as well, so it didn’t seem like a one-off issue. A quick check-in or even a simple acknowledgment would have made a big difference. Disappointing experience.

This was my first experience in Kentucky to eat at this restaurant. My daughter who was anxious to take me knew I’d love it bc of the atmosphere and delicious food choices!! Excellent service, coffee mugs were a nice size and made an excellent cup of tea! Ordered kale salad and tomato bisque soup, delicious!!! Wish we had this place back home in NY….

We ordered 1/2sandwich plus 1/2 chicken avocado salad and watermelon juice. Everything was delicious. The portion was neither big or small. Perfect size for me. My wife also enjoyed the blueberry pancake.

My first time eating here was a very nice experience. I had the chili chorizo omelet and it was really good. The wheat toast was amazing and the million dollar potatoes were good but could’ve used a little more flavoring. All in all it was good! I’d definitely go back and try something different here. My daughter had the French toast and the wife had the gravy and biscuits. They all loved their food.

Our family’s favorite restaurant. I will eat at this location at least 2 to 3 times a week. All the First Watch locations in Lexington, Ky have incredible staff.

We call ourselves frequent flyers at first Watch because we eat here so often. Not necessarily this location but all their locations.
This time was VERY different. My husband’s food was fine but my food was not what I ordered and we never got one item we ordered.
On the positive side the manager Shane came over and apologized, talked to us and made everything right before we left.
As far as we’re concerned Shane is a stand up guy and excellent manager.

It was really awesome. Our server, Lilian, was the epitome of perfect customer service. She kinda reminded me of Luna Lovegood,, and just had an overall awesome personality. And the food… all I can say is exquisite. I really love the ham I ate best of all! And the Watermelon Wake up? I want some more 🙂
