Overall this was a great casual dining experience and we’ll be back.
The only thing I didn’t care for was the exit. Once the rush begins, the entrance is crammed with patrons entering and unless I missed something, this is also the only way out. All that said, overall this was a good experience.
We tried the Pumpkin Pancake Breakfast—light, fluffy, and full of fall flavor—and the Avocado Hash with perfectly cooked eggs and crispy potatoes. Both were excellent. The Pumpkin Spice Donuts were the star seasonal treat—warm, sugar-dusted, and served with caramel and crème anglaise dipping sauces that were hard to stop tasting.
The fall menu also features creative drinks like the Cinnamon Toast Cereal Milk and Blackberry Bramble Sangria, keeping things fun for brunch or a casual lunch.
The Athens-themed mural adds a local personality, and the atmosphere feels like a neighborhood favorite rather than a chain. It’s bright, clean, and ideal for a relaxing weekend meal.
A great stop whether you’re a local or passing through town—fresh food, good energy, and thoughtful seasonal touches make this First Watch stand out.
Servers were attentive and greeted us at the door. Everything was great until the food…
For what it’s worth, I think there are better options when it comes to serving size and pricing. First off,Bacon taste bland (It’s the prepackaged bacon).Same thing goes with the cubed potatoes. We expected for our food to come out pretty fresh and exceptionally hot, since we waited around 20mins for it to get to our table. Except it did not, even with the restaurant being slow – instead we got luke warm food (almost cold). How ever, with the food being almost disappointing. The drinks were actually really good!
I would suggest for the owners to actually sit down and eat this food and adjust the seasoning at-least.
I liked this First Watch because of the bull dog decor on the walls and they have more comfy padding seats at some tables.
The staff were funominal and our food came out quick which i was starving..
I got my staple the quinoa breakfast bowl with an egg over ease with potatoes.
I would recommend the million dollar potatoes if you don’t have a gluten allergy.
The manager of this restaurant is pictured in the bar area. Great guy.
