This was a five star until it came to the end of my meal.
I had the soup and sandwich lunch with a morning meditation juice.
The Monterey club was very mellow but had soft bread. The tomato basil soup needed salt so I added it. With some pepper.
The juice was good but didn’t go with my meal. Ha ha. I waited until the end to drink it.
The server came by a couple of times, and then dropped off the check. I was there for probably another 30 min passing time and she never came back. I then figured out I had to pay by phone on the check. It didn’t work for me, probably because I had a Canadian card.
I finally asked a person who was cleaning up around me and she just said I could go to the till. Which I did.
The server was nice, and good to that point, but I think if you notice your customer has been sitting there you should check in once in a while, don’t you?

First Watch – 5/5 Stars
Great experience at First Watch! The food was really good—fresh, flavorful, and plenty of options to choose from. The service was excellent as well, with friendly staff who made the visit smooth and enjoyable.
A reliable spot for a solid breakfast or brunch.

I love First Watch, but I have noticed the last few take out orders I have placed with this specific one, have either missed items such as bread for a salad, or a side. My latest visit included two ends of what appears to be lettuce or something else in my salad. I am not sure if this is something they do, but I’ve never experienced it before, and am not a fan. Receiving two, in one salad seems intentional. If this is expected, please let me know so I can lower my expectations.

I’m very disappointed with my recent order. The packaging was completely wrong — all of the fruit was placed underneath the food containers, so everything spilled out. I can’t even blame the driver for this one because it was clearly a packing issue.
On top of that, I ordered blueberry pancakes and received chocolate chip, and I specifically chose sourdough bread but was sent whole grain instead. The food that did arrive was burnt and just not acceptable for the price or quality expected.
I really hope this gets addressed, because this experience was frustrating and far from the standard of service I’ve come to expect.

Delicious spot for breakfast and brunch! We went at 9am and our party of 3 was quickly seated. I ordered the Farm Stand Breakfast Tacos with fresh fruit as the side. It was so delicious and filling! The flavors came together really well and all three of us thoroughly enjoyed our dishes. The Million Dollar potatoes were quite good, but was a little heavy for me. Server was great and the kitchen could accommodate my peanut and tree nut allergy. It was quite loud, so it was sometimes difficult for the person sitting across from me to hear.

i’ve been to many first watch locations and this location is just as good as the ones in the past! we came in and were greeted by friendly hosts. we were seated quickly despite it being busy.
we ordered the pineapple express and mint chocolate ice coffee which was a great start to the meal.
i ordered the smoked salmon frittata and it was pretty good! i wished the smoked salmon was put on top of the frittata and not cooked within. just a preference.
we split the avocado toast which was great. fresh and light. and we also ordered the b.e.c. sandwich which was a lot bigger than we thought!
overall, delicious meal and friendly staff with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. would come again in the future.

First watch is probably my favorite chain restaurant. I usually avoid chains but First Watch provides quality and familiarity but still feels like it is not a chain. The First Watch at Corners Parkway in Brier Creek is wonderful! They are not quite as busy as other locations which makes it that much better. The food is always hot, fast and fresh. The service is wonderful and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Their special dishes (like the ones pictured – pastrami breakfast sandwich, blackberry lemon French Toast, and Seoul Hash skillet) are amazing, and their usual dishes are also wonderful. With a sizable and diverse menu, you can come back frequently and try something different and exciting each time. The ambiance is always upbeat and friendly. If I had ONE suggestion, ensure the table carafe of coffee is hot and not just warm – not enough of an issue to dock a whole point, but something that should be considered

I was giving a seat quickly. The noise in the kitchen was so loud that it dominated the restaurant. They brought me the wrong food the first time and wet eggs the second time. It took an hour for me to get something I could eat. The wait staff was kind and worked to resolve each issue. The silverware was dirty. The restaurant seems to have gone down since last being there. The food was OK. I had blueberry pancakes, bacon, and scrambled eggs with spinach. I have been there at least six times before, so I had expectations of a good atmosphere, great service, cleanliness, and good food. I just did not have that experience this visit.
