We greet the sunrise by slicing and juicing fresh fruits and vegetables, whipping French toast batter from scratch and brewing pots of our single-origin Project Sunrise coffee. Freshness is never comprised, which is why we welcome each season into our menu with ingredients and flavors inspired by the position of the sun. Fabulous breakfast spot with great service.
Fresh food. I had the “Elevated Stack” breakfast sandwich (egg on a brioche bun, with avocado and arugula) – it was light, fluffy, fresh, savory and delightful. It comes with a side of potatoes but I chose fruit instead.
Also got a pancake – it’s ginormous.

I usually don’t rate any restaurant lower then a 3 stars but First Watch completely earned a 1 star on this visit.
This visit reminded me exactly why I stopped coming. The crew seemed far more interested in gossiping in the kitchen than working. They even had time to take a selfie.
It took 10 minutes just to be acknowledged, another 5 for coffee, and 10 more before anyone took our order. Our server looked either buried or stuck with a table nobody else wanted.
The energy was flat, the service indifferent, and the whole place ran like Waffle House without the charm. Definitely not the “fresh start” First Watch likes advertise. Not sure who was the manager on shift but that person had lost control.
BTW. The eggs were overcooked and the grits were dry. That is why there was butter in them.
You have other options.

My family (we’re All Black) and I came in to enjoy a nice Saturday breakfast together. We were immediately seated with menus by the front of house staff. The section we were in was already being waited on by John (a young white guy) as we saw him going around the different tables. There was a couple who came in after us (an older black man and a middle aged white woman) who the wait staff told us are Regulars. John made an instant beeline to their table and chatted with them for awhile before taking their order. He barely looked over at us and never came to introduce himself as our waiter or take any kind of order. The house staff had to switch us to another waitress, Val (very sweet, attentive and helpful) from a completely different section of the restaurant. One of the hostesses got our drink orders and Val took our food orders. We had to ask other waitstaff for our former server’s name and then had to stop John himself directly to ask why we got such poor treatment and service from him in his section. He then went on rambling and speed explaining (while actually trying to excuse our complaints) of why he acted the way he did and gave a weak “apology” at the end. He didn’t seem to understand or care about the disrespectful disregard and poor customer service he gave to us. This First Watch is a great location and we enjoy it; they just need to get all of their waitstaff on point to properly wait and give great customer service like Val. John needs to do better ALL around.

Ordered online for delivery, so had no expectations of my meal being hot. Ordered scrambled eggs they were done so hard it was dry. The French toast was missing my powdered sugar and butter. It was not coated all the way through with the batter(so the taste was only saved by the syrup)

I had an incredible experience at First Watch today! From the moment we sat down, the atmosphere was welcoming, but what truly made the meal stand out was the service.
Our server, Val, was absolutely amazing. She was attentive, friendly, and had such a positive energy that really brightened our morning. She made sure our coffee was always topped off and checked in at just the right times without being intrusive. It’s rare to find someone who handles a busy brunch rush with such grace and a genuine smile.
The food was fresh and delicious as always, but Val’s exceptional service is what will keep us coming back to this location. If you’re heading in, definitely ask for her!

My food was good and fresh. The sprite tasted like seltzer. Asked for another bc it needed more syrup to taste more like sprite. The waitress said she’d ask her manager about the sprite needing to be adjusted but the waitress didn’t understand fully I’m assuming. She brought me more seltzer beverage. I didn’t complain a second time bc she didn’t seem to really care. Cashier was nice and pleasant. Vibe was cool in the place.

Not too many places are good around here for breakfast, trust me I know. Not only was the food good..the coffee was good too and it’s so hard to find a good cup of coffee. They had flavored creamer too! Our waitress was wonderful and friendly. The environment was a vibe. Would definitely go back. Also grab the donuts !!!
