We greet the sunrise by slicing and juicing fresh fruits and vegetables, whipping French toast batter from scratch and brewing pots of our single-origin Project Sunrise coffee. Freshness is never comprised, which is why we welcome each season into our menu with ingredients and flavors inspired by the position of the sun. I had the pleasure of visiting First Watch in Apex, NC, and I was genuinely impressed. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The service was attentive, warm, and truly went above and beyond—something that’s hard to find these days.
The food was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. I especially appreciated the healthy options on the menu, and everything we ordered came out just right. One of the sandwiches we received was a bit too spicy for our taste, and without hesitation—no questions asked—they offered to replace it immediately. That kind of service really stood out.
This place is a gem for breakfast or brunch, and the exceptional customer service made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Came as a family of 6 including my parents. Food was excellent and service was good. But waiting time was around 30 mins to get seated.
It was a bit busy and noisy but can be expected on a Sunday morning.
Our parents enjoyed the food and the kids loved the pancakes and granola.

Was greated pleasantly and had a nice table with a good outdoors view. The pancake (1) was very good banana and pecan and the syrup served warm as it should be. They ARE large pancakes, believe them. I never felt rushed.
I’ll be back, probably to a few of them. But Apex site is primo.

This is my second time trying first watch at this location. Food is always pre-cooked never fresh every time I get the sausage is shrunk tight like it’s just been sitting there half of my potatoes are burnt and I never should’ve went back because the first time honestly, I was sick as a dog after I ate that food I’ve waited 2 months for this AGAIN

Visited at the height of brunch and we were seated and served quickly so quickly. We had the bacon omelet and market hash bowl and both were very tasty. The standout, though, is the staff! So friendly and excellent teamwork.

The staff was attentive. The place is clean and of course very loud. Given the loudness the table next to you really can’t hear what you are talking which is a plus at the same time some sound dampening is required as it gets noisy after a while.
Otherwise coffee, food and drinks were great. Will repeat once in a while.

My significant other and I go to First Watch almost every weekend for brunch, and it has truly become one of our favorite traditions. The food is always amazing — fresh, hot, and consistently delicious. We usually order one sweet and one savory dish to share. The Morning Market Veggie Omelet is a must for us, and we’re big fans of whatever French toast or waffle is on the seasonal menu. You honestly can’t go wrong.
What really makes this place special, though, is the people. Shae is an absolute rock star, and we always ask to sit in her section. She’s warm, friendly, and so genuinely welcoming — she makes us feel like regulars who are truly appreciated. We could talk with her for hours, and she always makes our brunch experience feel extra special.
Chelsea and Mitch, the managers, are just as wonderful. They’re kind, attentive, and clearly care about both their team and their guests. You can tell this location is run with heart.

Been there a couple of times and have always loved the food and the warmth. Everyone is so lovely it makes the experience wholesome and leave u craving for more.
