The food was fresh and yummy! Highly recommended! (We had a Sunday brunch)
But that aside. After a mild wait for breakfast. Was tempted to leave, But it was right next to a sheetz and was in a perfect spot to get gas and chow. we waited it out. The staff was on a whole level of friendly. We were clearly in southern charm area. We were offered coffee. Which was go go juice witchcraft. It was trulyon par with military field coffee, for the weak of heart grab a extra sugar, Which was pure cane, So get massive points for that. We ordered honey carmel coffee to start, And way better then any starbucks. Seriously. crazy yummy. Even though reading the menu was like reading a novel to stir the taste buds. We got a what i think was a local starter, the million dollar bacon, for like 10 bucks, you get four strips of bacon that was basically maple syrup mild salted bacon with spices. Its more of a catch thing. I highly suggest skipping it. But If you get it, you will tell right away its the extra cheap bacon on par with Mcdonalds, just with a kick. mild kick. like a three year old wearing socks kick.
The rest of the mild wasnt bad, the gavy and biscuits was high on pepper, But some folks like that. They messed up the next two orders with the eggs. And offered nothing as a excuse for the mistake. I got the traditional with sour dough toast. I suggest folks pass on that toast and stay with the healthy whole wheat. And the sausage links while nice size, were over cooked. Woudl say it was because it was crazy busy.. But i saw 12 empty seats. the bottle neck of seating and wait staff is the lack of moving bus people. But back to the food.
The tru fetca would have been close to perfect if it woudlnt be the mix up on the eggs going to the wrong plate. Over all. i gave the food 3 stars. Bc the menu read was to long for when is placed on the plate. Seriously. the traditional. 2 egg, cubed homefries, two links of sausage and toast. 14.00. yes, the resturant looked all new age and awesome. But you need to ask yourself. Are you good for a fancy franchise with higher prices. Or you just want breakfast and dennys down the road serves basically the same breakfast for 5 bucks cheaper. To each their own.
I love just about everything on the menu.
