Calling all Healthy folks!
If you wear yoga pants & prefer a health conscious organic menu, then this is the place. Don’t come expecting the butter soaked pancakes or greasy eggs, which we all secretly love. Menu filled with fancy verbiage and vegan options. The food was pleasant and largely portioned for the price. My Meat Omelet was very hearty, so much I couldn’t finish, with a side of Potatoes & toast. ($15) My mother had the “Choose 2” @ $12, she chose the Half Cobb Salad & Turkey Sandwich. Our server, Alicia, was an absolute pleasure, she had great menu suggestions & a wonderful personality. We left with Blackberry tea to go & leftovers for later.

Jamirah was very customer oriented and we very much appreciated it, and gave us excellent suggestions for food which were on point!! We loved our Breakfast and will be back, and hope to have Jamirah again, and enjoy another superb breakfast. It was definitely an excellent kick-off to the upcoming Valentines Day Weekend

We definitely enjoyed our meal. The server was very attentive and was able to ensure our no pork order was placed properly. We didn’t try the special drinks but they looked pretty good coming from the bar. The place was clean and spacious.

Wife and I were looking forward to dining at Dovers new First Watch but it turned out to be a real disappointment. We arrived and “signed in” and were told it would be about 15 minutes, 25 minutes later we were still waiting even though the restaurant was not overcrowded… Finally seated, Our server was prompt and took our orders but it would be another 35 minutes before we got our meals and the food was not that great. The Bacon Eggs benedict was served on bread rather than a muffin like I have had at every other restaurant I have ordered it, the hollandaise sauce was sour tasting, the slice of avocado was more brown than green, the eggs were hard boiled not poached and a handful of lettuce on the plate was the “salad” which was bland with no dressing, just some lemon juice on it which was sour as well. The potatoes that came out were burnt and very salty. Wifes food was not much better with strange flavors that didn’t really go together. We also ordered the WAY overpriced Belgian waffle but at least it tasted good. The coffee was lukewarm and bitter, wifes OJ was ok. Last point, it was in the low 70’s on the day we went and the heat was on high in the restaurant, thankfully we were seated near a door that the staff opened and stood at to cool down while we were there so we got some air from that but it had to be 80 in the restaurant! I really wanted to give this new place a good review but it just turned out to be a one and done affair. We will not be going back.

This has become one of my favorite breakfast spots..I even stopped by after working an 11pm–8am shift because that’s how much I usually enjoy it. Most visits are great and I’m normally extremely satisfied, but this visit was unfortunately disappointing.
Our server wasn’t very attentive, and there was a hair on my plate. Since we had waited a while for our food, I didn’t send it back. I was also missing the cheese I ordered on my eggs and the blueberry compote that normally comes with the blueberry pancakes.
That said, my mom’s Strawberry Tres Leches French Toast was absolutely amazing an easy 10/10, and definitely the highlight of the visit. I’m hoping this was just an off day, because this place is usually very consistent and one of my go to breakfast spots.

We have first watch just recently open near where we live in Pennsylvania but we didn’t have the chance to try it out and while we’re here doing road trip and saw first watch (Dover location) on our way to Virginia we decided to give it a try. The place looks really pretty and it was pretty packed but good thing they have seating by the bar so we just went straight to seat there instead waiting the hostess to find us a table.
I wasn’t really hungry so my husband he ordered himself a salmon egg benedict with tomato soup on the side so we’re both can share.
Everything was pretty good, to be honest I didn’t really like much the soup but I’m sure that’s just me being a bit picky. The healthy drink (tangerine dream) was interesting and my husband said he liked it.

Opened this week. Today was my first visit and it won’t be my last. The place is New, clean and modern. Very comfortable atmosphere. The food tasted new just like the place, colorful, favorable, with a competitive, inexpensive price. Not your typical breakfast menu, but something for everyone. I had one of the classic favorites…The Traditional Breakfast with apple sauce sausage and potatoes. Delicious and filling.

First, let me say that we visited on day 2 of the new opening in Dover, De. We didn’t know we needed to get on a waitlist prior to arrival. Even so, at 1pm, we only had a 20 minute wait. We sat for roughly 7 minutes before our server came to take our drink order but that gave us time to read the menu and give our full order at the same time. She was adequate in her abilities but I suspect she is new to restaurant service (and the menu). Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The plating of both entrees was beautiful (an important thing since you eat with your eyes first). The food was as delicious as it was pleasing to look at. The only drawback to our experience is the noise level of the dining area. High ceilings and an industrial (exposed ducts/pipes) decor is fun but there is nothing to buffer excess noise. It made it a little difficult for me to hear conversation at a normal level. Overall, it was a good visit and we will return.

This was my first visit to First Watch and it was amazing! The food was the best breakfast around, I definitely want to try more. Our server, Alicia, was the best ever. She was informative about the menu as it was our first time being there. She was very personable and funny and I hope we get her next time, if not I’d request her. She alone deserves 5 stars

We visited this breakfast restaurant on our anniversary and it was great. They serve delicious pancakes, grits, and bacon, and offers fresh food with generous portions. They highlight the quick service, attentive staff, and clean, modern decor. They also like the friendly and kind waitresses, and the overall positive experience.
