“Awesome little IceCream shop that we’ve unknowingly passed by for years as we’ve driven through the area…ya gotta slow down and see what’s going on around!

Stopped in for a quick lunch while driving along US 20. There was a nice crowd in the restaurant, but it didn’t take long to get our sandwiches. The food was great, but maybe a little overpriced.

Overall, quick friendly service, tasty sandwiches, I’d stop again.

Had First Street Deli while in town for work. I ordered the Prime Rib Sandwich and Mac N Cheese. It was all so good. The meet was flavorful, and the Mac was creamy and cheesy. 10/10 would recommend! This was one of the best lunches I’ve had in awhile!

Great subs!
You want tasteless meats and cheeses for cheap: go to subway (BTW subway isn’t much cheaper.)
For excellent meats and cheeses, 1st st Deli is the place to go. Pastrami was so good. And the dill spread was the perfect accompaniment. Wife really liked her Ceasar chicken wrap too. We’ll definitely be back

I used to love fist street, but it has gone downhill in more ways than one under new ownership. After giving it another try, I was reminded of why I no longer dine here. Again, I had to remind the staff member to take off their gloves after touching the cash register to grab my bread out of the toaster. Staff was unkept and unfriendly. Chips had not been stocked. Food was pricy and unappetizing.

Backpacking across country means eating lots of protein bars and beef jerky. I was truly blessed to have the most perfect baked potato in ever. Loaded with butter, sour cream, and bacon–mmmmm, heaven-or, at least close. Wish there were more places like yours along the way.

Went in on 9/1/23 during a busy lunch time. No worries. I’m in no rush.

The employee working completely ruined any chance of me returning here. She was audibly complaining to the whole shop that she is busy, and the only other employee is “too stupid to work up front.” She later proceeds to tell the whole shop that she’s getting drunk tonight because of this job, in front of children.

Quite disgusting behavior.
I’m not one to complain but it was quite appalling. 0/5 if I could.

What a great place to do business with. Had a celebration and had to feed over 100 people. The staff was great to work with and they made the ordering process very easy. The service was amazing and everyone loved the subs and cookies. Thank you so much for making or celebration a huge success

Best sub sandwiches around. The bread is amazing, high quality meats with very generous portions. Well worth the drive from Cedar Rapids/Marion. We visit weekly. Enjoy the goodness people!

This was great! I had the prime rib french dip. They add tomatoes, onion, green sprouts and dill sauce all on an onion bun. It was really good! The cookies, white macadamia nut, weren’t too bad either!

I can’t eat at this place anymore. Just spent $25 on a footlong and a wrap. They were skimpy on the meat, the deli meats are poor quality. Anything that’s heated up is microwaved. If it requires a container to be heated up they microwave it in a Styrofoam container!
