Good food. I will say I was expecting a bit higher quality, considering the pricing and the atmosphere. I got the French dip sandwich and my husband got the bacon burger, both with steak fries on the side. We waited about 15-20 minutes for our food, and it all tasted fine, just didn’t ‘wow’ us like we were hoping. Service was welcoming and friendly.

The service was AMAZING. My boyfriends steak wasn’t cooked correctly and he didn’t want to send it back so they comp’d it at 50% for him! Food was so delicious, dessert was especially amazing. The wait time, although they were super busy, was really short!

I can’t say enough about this place. On this Friday night is was a 10/10 type night. All the food, especially the steaks were impeccably prepared on their wood fired grill. Our guide and servitor was Max. As first timers going over a large menu, his suggestions on the Filet and Ribeye, seasoned with their cajun spice and topping them off with some sort of herbal butter was magnificent. The place was crazy busy by 6pm, but the service reminded me of the pre 2020 days. It was on Point. All the details of a restaurant run by a great chef are here. Simple things like the buttermilk ranch, the over-the-top carmelized brussel sprouts. I could go on and on. We were passing through Casper, 10 hour drive from my home. I can guarantee you, in the near future, I’ll be sitting at my house contemplating driving that 10hrs to get that dinner experience again.

I had very small culinary expectations when I arrived in Casper. Then I found the FireRock. Walking in is a western-gasm. Beautiful ambiance with high ceilings and pendant lighting. Western art everywhere. The restroom corridor highlights Wyoming history photos. My waiter was the best that it gets anywhere. Very nice and accommodating. Jonny on the spot for drinks during a very busy night. I started with the Calamari that was tender and perfectly fried. A neat rendition served over a bed of dried, crunchy rice noodles, smoked peppers and onions. The bread served before dinner is decadent. Like dessert before dinner. The bone-in Bison rib eye was world class and perfectly cooked. Possibly the best steak I’ve ever tasted. The char from the fire in the kitchen is very pronounced in the flavor of the steaks here. The pearl onions as an add to the steak are also fire cooked, perfectly sweet and tender. The Malbec is my only choice for any of the meats at FireRock.

Great restaurant! Service was very good and the food delicious. We had Bacon wrapped beef filet, New York strip and Beef tips. Everything was fresh and very tasty! If you have the opportunity to book a table… do it! We went there on a Thursday evening and it was very busy (had to wait 50min!).

Going Again with Denton and Trudi
I was pleasantly surprised. We randomly chose to try it out. It was packed and yet the wait was a short 15 to 20 minutes for a table for two. The prime rib as a great portion. The rolls were divine and the tri tips were very flavorful. Lane our server was very attentive. Paid attention to details and very good.
