The club on a sub received positive feedback within my household. However, the steak and cheese was critiqued as being less desirable, with a preference for alternative establishments. The customer service was satisfactory, though it did not quite meet a five-star standard. Also, the floor had sticky spots and needed mopping.

This is where I picked up subs to take to my friend in Richmond for lunch. There were actually 3 of us, ordering for 4 of us, lunch hour, about ~~ 1pm.
Ordering went great (we went inside and ordered). However, they told us it would be a 15 minute wait until they were done.
The inside of the restaurant wasn’t that busy, but I think a lot of their orders were called in our ordered online for pickup so there was a bit of a backlog. It actually took a like longer than 15 minutes and they forgot the extra mayo on the side I ordered, but I checked the order as soon as I got it and they promptly offered me a small hoard of Duke’s mayo packets.
All went well the order was correct, subs hot off the press, even my special request for my sub (I always have special requests… I’m picky) was correct. Very pleased.
I don’t eat fast food a lot, but if I lived there where my friend does, if be ordering the New York Steamer from there occasionally. We also ordered the Spicy Cajun Chicken, Spicy Meatball, and the Hook & Ladder. All were great and still hot by the time we got to my friends house.

Staff needs a major training in time management, customer service, and maturity. Cursing and loudly having their own conversations while half of the restaurant is filled with customers waiting on food is a bit ridiculous. Asking customers rude questions and overall lack of respect of others may be enough for me not to come back again. You can have the best food in town, but it’s all diminished by the employees you have representing your company.

There’s typically a game on the television, and the service is fast. I’ve been to other firehouse locations where the restrooms were a bit cleaner, but overall, it is a great restaurant.

They are never properly staffed!! It takes FOREVER to get your food and it’s usually made haphazardly. Go to the one on Sheila lane if you want excellent service and good quality!! For the price you pay, they should be properly staffed and the food should be good.

Soda machine needs an update. It clicks and let’s out small amounts of soda ever second. Also needs the employees to check the syrup for each drink offered. Mellow yellow and coke were just tonic water.

Was really in the mood for a couple of sandwiches, and was going to pick up with a quick van ride from the hotel. But, they never answered the phone, so lost thirty bucks or so in revenue and more in loss of customer good will. Firehouse in general has always been slow to build their sandwiches, so if you want to get a sandwich to go, your only option is to camp out while they make one for you, or better in the case of this franchise, shop elsewhere.
