I tested out this restaurant today and I want to share that I had the BEST Meatball and Cheese sub that I have had in years… these subs are not just meatballs and cheese they have the sauce, not too much, nice melted cheese, meatballs that fill the bread without being too much or too list, but the piece de resistance is the seasoning sprinkled on the cheese. This meatball sub is better than any I have had in Frederick county. EXCELLENT!

Leaving Firehouse with a headache. l felt so welcome when l was told they were closing soon. It was only 7:15. Soup was watery. And it annoyed me deeply as l ate that an employee walked around blasting her Android/I Phone that competed with the television. Never seen that in a sandwich shop before. I have a massive headache. Either way management should raise the issue. Going to Firehouse this evening was not pleasurable or enjoyable.

This used to be a great spot but there seems to be a change of management a few years ago & it just became a generic expensive sandwich shop. Usually smoky inside from something burnt, high prices, & minimal effort for required promotions that serve the people that it is designed to represent.

Thanks to T mobile Tuesday we sought this place out and I’m grateful. Staff was friendly and courteous. Subs were very generous size(we got mediums) a very good overall experience. I like Firehouse because their subs are more like hoagie style that I’m used to from the Jersey/Philly area, so way to go guys. Would definitely recommend. Oh and the brownies are awesome:)

Just closed the restaurant on Veterans Day when offering free meals for veterans nationwide. I don’t need a free meal and had my family with me so it was disappointing. So fellow service members, veterans, families and friends this isn’t the location for you.
