I had a great experience at Firehouse Subs. The food was fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The bread was perfectly soft, and the meat portions were generous compared to most sandwich spots. You can really taste the quality in every bite. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. Overall, it’s one of the best sub shops around, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a hot, satisfying sandwich.

My nephew and I went to West main st firehouse a few days ago. Quality is NO where near to what it use to be. Each of our orders was in the 18.00 range . When we received our takeout order the bags had grease spots and black grease fingerprints on bags. The service guy had heavy white nose ring and several face studs on his bottom lip. I question cleanliness of service. I don’t plan on going back.

Asked for banana peppers on my Hook and Ladder sandwich, did not get any. The lettuce was all big chunks of end pieces. I pulled most of them off. Took a bite of sandwich and could not chew it. Pulled out paper that meat was wrapped in. Worst experience ever at a Firehouse Sub Shop. Will never visit this location again!

This was just ridiculous. 1st it took a very long time to get my food, 2nd got my 12 dollar sandwich and there was the very minimum of meat on there and 3rd my daughter ordered soup and it was cold. When she went to the counter to ask for it to be heated up they were rude and said someone will be with you in a moment for the lady to just stand there.

I must say this was the first time I had been at a firehouse subs and not give 5 stars.
I entered the building and was never greeted. There were no other customers so the were not busy. I being myself spoke to the 2 young men behind the counter…no response so I then asked are you all closed caused they looked as if as if I had disturbed them. I then place my order which was a med Italian fully involved nothing additional sandwich only. I wait about 4 to 5 mins still no food…remember I’m the only customer. Then walks in a delivery driver and she’s greeted with the warmest hello, how are you etc… I then hear the young man who took my order says “go ahead and make that order first” myself not thinking he was speaking of the order that just came in cause I had been sitting for a few mins already. From my many years of ordering and dining at Firehouse Subs it only take 2-4 mins to get your sandwich made unless you’ve placed a fairly large order. However, I wait another 3 mins and the lady that was so warmly greeted was handed over a sandwich. I was perturbed. Before she walked out another customer walks in and he’s greeted with a “welcome to Firehouse subs” I then wait 3-4 more mins then I finally get my food. I really wanted to cancel my order but I was in town on business and had been driving all day. I was tired and ready to get to my hotel room to rest. I must say I was disappointed. I only gave 2 stars because the place was clean and the food as always was good. However, if I ever come back to Tupelo, MS I would not be stopping at this particular Firehouse Subs.

That Hook & Ladder! Don’t mess around and get a small, because even though you will be stuffed after eating the medium, it will be worth it. Since Covid, the fun hot sauces have not been out for you to choose from, but if you ask the helpful folks behind the counter, they will give you their sweet and spicy hot sauce concoction, and it is so good! Clean dining room and restrooms, and a few outside tables for pretty weather days.
