So far firehouse subs offer quality sandwiches whether you are in New Jersey or in Florida. Admittedly, New Jersey sets the bar pretty high for sandwiches. To say that Firehouse Subs os the best around would be a lie. Picked up an Italian sub for dinner. Used the online order optionto order ahead while driving to the restaurant. By the time I arrived, it was ready. For a sandwich joint, it was decent and hit the spot. If a true Italian deli was open later in evening, probablywould haclve opted for a real Italian sub, however, this was decent. Enjoyed the fact that I could order ahead and pick up when it’s ready.

The only thing saving me from giving it one star was my past eating experiences but the staff that closed on 1/16/26 didn’t make me feel welcome at all. I went in 40 minutes before closing on 1/16/26. I felt bad that it was late notice but I was STARVING. I went in and the 2 dudes there, even before I ordered, looked annoyed that I was there. I placed my order and got my usual but asked for no tomatoes and I’m 100% certain the one employee who took the order told the guy making the food to not put tomatoes. When I told them I was dining in, the guy making the sandwich reiterated with an attitude that they closed in 30 minutes. I told him, annoyed myself when he said that, that I would leave shortly and I did after I ate. When I got my sandwich, the dude put EXTRA tomatoes on my sandwich which I thought was disrespectful. I’m only writing this now because I was in the area and wanted to eat there again, but recalled the experience and decided to eat elsewhere. Terrible service and experience.

After reading the reviews of this location and then going there myself I don’t see what all the fuss is about with the negative reviews…. As soon as I walked in the door Ashley R. greeted me very politely and with a big smile on her face! You don’t see that too much any more. The store was VERY CLEAN and the atmosphere and ambiance was VERY INVITING to say the least. I felt not only welcomed but comfortable and excited to stay. At the register Darrel was not only extremely helpful but also went out of his way to make suggestions that turned out to be spot on as far as making my meal very appealing and tasty. His suggestion to get my sandwich hot made all the difference. Ashley R. repeatedly checked on me and how I was making out. She even took the time to check out the bathroom before I used it and wanted everything during my visit to be perfect. She DEFINITELY DESERVES A RAISE AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT FOR HER ACTIONS! I would accept nothing less. The bathrooms were clean and everyone was nice. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. Also I forgot to mention how amazing the soda machine is and how it would take you a year to try EVERYTHING they have…. SOOOOO MANY OPTIONS!!

My clients were in the mood for Firehouse Subs so we ordered from here. I ordered the jerk turkey sub on wheat. Everything was ordered online. When I arrived I waited a bit for them to make it. I parked in the plaza lot. The food was ready and I left after it was done. When I tried the sub it was very delicious. I really enjoyed the jerk flavors. It wasn’t hot enough though. All in all I had a good experience.

After spending $29.27 on a large sub and a medium sub couldn’t get drinks because all they had was carbonated beverages. They did not have the normal sweet tea or unsweetened tea that they normally have. The containers were empty and we were told no that there was none available. I was extremely disappointed to find that my sandwiches really had no meat on them either. There is an option to order double meat. I would have had to do that at least three times in order to get what used to be on my sandwich
The employees were very friendly. Greeted us when we came in. Unfortunately I will never be going back there again because the sandwiches were just totally substandard from what they used to be and I’m talking. I used to be here three times a week because I worked in Willowbrook Mall and Paramus Park so it was no problem for me to get there and it was a good meal for the money. Did not mind paying for a sandwich as long as it was a sandwich. Not two pieces of bread with a slab of cheese, a couple pieces of meat and a lot of barbecue sauce. Definitely not what it used to be. I’m wondering if it’s under new ownership for management in the past few years. Like I said, I haven’t been here in a while but extremely disappointing. Extremely

June 2022-Customer service was great during a small rush hour around 7:30pm.Two young men were very helpful. Food was good.. bought a medium Italian sandwich with bacon for $8.29 + tax. They open till 9pm and they hardly answer the phone cause they’re busy
