Counter-serve sandwich chain offering made-to-order hot & cold subs, plus a variety of hot sauces.

I got the New York Steamer.
The bun was great, golden and crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. The meat was pretty good quality.
It was a little heavy on the mayo for my taste, it covered the flavour of the meat a little, plus the mustard should have been more fowarded than the mayo. Otherwise, a pretty good sandwhich.

I should’ve paid attention to the sign out front. No white bread, only wheat. No large sandwiches, only small or medium. No carbonation, so no soda fountain. Restaurant was not clean, music playing was very vulgar rap music, couldn’t believe what I was hearing, cashier was whisper quiet when asking for my order. Not what I expected from a Firehouse Sub. Very disappointed.

Everytime I go its dirty! Floors tables, drink machine. Owners should fly to Puerto Rico to learn how a real firehouse sub should be run. Very disappointed.

Firehouse subs at The Fountains
I was handed my grilled chicken subs, and by the time I reached my car, 5 minutes later, mu subs was floating in mayonnaise, the bread was soggy, the chicken was cut into very small pieces, NO cheese, 1/4 pickle spear, sparse lettuce, loosely wrapped and placed into a nice container. Let’s talk about the customer service. Behind the cash register was a blonde female who took my order. She has zero customer service training. She couldn’t break a smile, didn’t ask me about anything other than the pickles and the size of the sub. What ingredients?? Cheese?? She took my payment, handed me my receipt and never made eye contact, not even a whisper of a thank you. If the food quality was good, I could have easily overcooked her lazy customer service, but the food was disgusting. This was my very first time at Firehouse Subs. I was looking forward to it, but I will never return. I do know one thing for sure. I will share my experience with others and I will include what a waste of money it was, and the very poor service. What a shame.

A legit 1 hr wait watching everyone who ordered AFTER us get their orders. We asked at 15 min and again at 30 min how much longer and both times we were told 10-15 min. That’s when they decided to notify us they were out of steak. *No excuse for poor management. But they gave us a free cookie for the wait so I guess it’s supposed to be okay?

Don’t eat here. I ordered a meatball sub along with an Italian and they cut the meatball first and then the Italian. Needless to say the Italian had marinara sauce on it. It was to go and did t realize it until I got home. Called about it and the guy said other would replace it and he would “write my in for down”. . I come back to get the new sandwiches and I speak to the manager and she said there wasn’t anything annotated and that it wasn’t enough marinara for her liking anyway. She was very unprofessional for being a “GM” and of course very unsympathetic. I wouldn’t give them any business with a manager like that. Just my two cents. It’s not like they are giving giving food away. We pay for it and we are customers who pay for your salary. You can at least pretend to give a damn.

Went to pickup an order. While waiting in the pickup area, saw an employee drop a piece of bread and put it back on their toasting station. He did not throw it away. I let the manager know immediately and the guy denied it. Manager told me they would review the tape.. still kept the bread…

Unfortunately, Firehouse Subs is one of those establishments that you can NOT visit after a certain hour. Arriving just after 6:30pm, some sandwiches become unavailable, but that’s okay, any sandwich here is a good sandwich. With my meal, I was offered the side pickle and given my drink with a bag of chips. The Coca-Cola freestyle machine was out of everything! Certain brands were blacked out, and the ones supposedly “available” only dispensed club soda with coloring, and the employees kept selling meals without warning customers that they had no drinks other than crusty syrup water. When I received my meal, fortunately the sandwich was good, but the side pickle I paid for was a sliver so thin you could tell they split a regular side pickle into two, they could have just said they were out of pickles. And the environment was bad the music they had blasting was horrible, they had a bunch of teenagers on aux, and all the tables were dirty along with everything in the restaurant including the soda dispenser caked with stains. For reference, the restaurant closes at 10pm. Don’t visit this restaurant after 6pm! I paid 30 dollars for a horrible experience.

I was very pleased with this Firehouse location. This was my first visit and it was an exceptional experience. I had a medium hero sandwich and it was delicious, with tons of flavor. The restaurant was clean and very comfortable. The customer service from the associate at the register was not only courteous, but knowledgeable about the menu.
