Today I wanted to call in an order for pick up. I called 6 times the phone call was only answered on the 6 call. I was please don’t hold. My call stayed on hold as I walked in the store. I expected to see a full house. What I witnessed was 3 employees and 2 customers who had all ready placed their order. The place was empty. There was no reason for the call not to answered.
When I walked in I was not greeted. When I walked up to counter to place my order the employee would hardly speak. And when the employee did speak I could barely hear her. Places my order and waited.
The 3 employees were talking laughing and discussing why they did Halloween night. Not a care in the world.
When the couple that was there before order was ready the employees called their name 3 times. Nitka the customers were at the front counter of the store and I was sitting directly across from the pick up counter. I could barely hear the employees call the couples name. Again they the employees did not care they had zero Enthusiasm and beyond poor customer service.
When my Togo order was ready it was slapped on the counter Accounting received a your is ready.
The food was not placed in a bag. I opted the Togo box. My youngest son whom is 5 could have done a better presentation of the food.
This store is in Rockledge Florida on US1.
Firehouse Rockledge. Good luck I will never place an order from this store again. I understand finding employees can be challenging. May I recommend management stick around train and watch. It’s apparent the employees that were there today. Did not want to be there. They would have been any where else swapping trick or treat stories.
This is not the first time have received this we don’t care attatrude from the store in Rockledge Florida.
However it will be my last.
No local management onsite poor poor customer service.
I’m sure the way this store is run it will close soon. And from the reviews I have read the one thing this company excels in customer service. Heck we don’t are any way.
Good by firehouse!!!! Your Rockledge store is a failure.
Why do I feel corporate could care less as well.
Take my advice next time you want a sandwhich you will enjoy from an employee that know what customer service is. Or cares try the hot dog place in town. Not this place

Decided to give this place a try. They support a good cause! Purchased a small Hook and Ladder sub. It was nothing special. Very little meat on it – very shaved, like tiny bits of meat – not slices. Bread was like a soft white roll, spongy and plain. Liked the pickle on the side. I know that their hot subs are better, and they have quality meats….just put more on and get better sub rolls!
The “Jersey” place is better IMO 🙂

Ordered online tonight at 7:13PM 08/24/25, for pickup (which I do once every week or two. Service is usually fantastic. However, I walk in, not a worker in sight. The door rings when you walk in so I assume they hear me. I waited 5-10-ish minutes, still no one. Another lady walks in, (door dings) takes her to go order, leaves (door dings). We’re at three dings, and no one. I’m texting my wife who is in the car, and she comes inside. She says “Excuse me?” A girl with braids comes out and immediately starts with an attitude. “What?” My wife made her aware we put an order in at 7:13PM, supposed to be ready by 7:25PM, it’s 7:30PM. The worker goes on about how they didn’t get an order and if it was ordered it would ready. All of a sudden when I show her my receipt, the order ticket (sitting on the printer since I walked in, because I went to the counter to look). She argued with my wife back and forth about how it wasn’t there, they didn’t get it. My wife told her the problem was that I stood in there for 10 minutes, another person came in an out, and no one said a word. The girl with glasses was trying to “fix it” by trying to convince us the printer wasn’t working at the right times (not true, it was on the printer while i was there) The girl with braids said “It won’t take long to make” with an attitude. Our sandwiches were much messier to try and eat than usual. Very little meat on the sandwiches.
I’m not familiar with the two girls that were there tonight, usually we have no issues with the staff at all. Tonight made us want to go elsewhere.
UPDATE— Gave it another try. 11:35AM Rockledge store. (same as last time)
Still just as bad with the customer service. I ordered ahead. App says it’s ready, it’s not. Waited another 30 minutes at the store. This was the last chance.

I ordered a Hook and Ladder with no deli mustard. Got home and my first bite had deli mustard on it, my second bite had a long piece of hair in it. Try to call the store 5 times and no one answered. I contacted corporate and they wanted pictures of the hair on the sandwich. They stated that they watched the video of my sandwich being made and mustard was not put on but did they use the same knife as a sandwich with mustard but that doesn’t bother as much as the long piece of hair I pulled out of my mouth and spit out the rest of the sandwich. After 2 bites of my sandwich, I threw out the sandwich. Corporate offered me 15% off my next order. I spent almost $30 on 2 sandwiches. Will never order from Firehouse again.

All the sandwiches I’ve tried here are just amazing! This meatball pepperoni pizza sub was just wild, tasted great and after eating half of it for lunch, was stuffed for the rest of the day
